God Of War - Cheapest?

It's too good to be cheap, anytime soon. Also the game is a dual layer dvd, so it might be possible that your ps2 could have trouble reading it, or i could just be completely wrong and the disc is totally effed'.

Could be, but it plays other dual layered games like Xenosaga.

I'm expecting it to probably take longer than 3-6 months for it to drop. probably around 7 or 8.
 
Do you have an older ps2 model? I've heard that God of War uses a new kind of Dvd (not just dual-layered, but some other difference) that causes problems with older ps2 units. Throughout all of my playing (easily 30+ hours) its only locked up on me about 3 times.. a small price to pay for no loading screens, I'd say. :)
 
Speaking of this game I gotta ask has anyone played it in Progressive Scan and can you have an older model PS2 do it, like one bought slightly if maybe a few months after launch.
 
wait a week or 2 then check ebgames.com. If you use cag15, saver and and edge card (If you dont have one, you should get one) and you can get it for about $35 shipped

As long as compatable with PS3 then i don't have to buy new small PS2 unit or not :)
 
i have this sweet store in my town of Crown Point, Indiana called Disc Replay. It sells all used games, dvds and vhs for low prices. They have God of War for $35.00.

They have a Disc Replay in Crown Point, where? I've always went to the one in Merreville, I live in East Chicago by the way.
 
A while back I remember seeing it for $32 online (one of the online retailers), and I didn't jump on it. I wish I would have, because it's $49 everytime I see it anywhere now. After playing the demo, I noticed the game was a whole lot o' fun.
