Amazon had it at one time at $36.99 with $20 in PSN Credits (That's when I picked it up) as a match to Best Buy
...Still, $29.99 is a good price (you'd pay $40 for the PS2 versions on Amazon right now), but I'm fairly certain that this collection will continue to go down in price and I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of sale when God of War 3 is released.

The hell does this have to do with OP? I am going through the collection right now ( got it with the extra trade in credit from GS) and the graphic updates are very nice indeed and yes, the cut scenes look rather strange in all of their PS2 glory, but an awesome collection and one that anyone with a ps3 should consider, especially if you haven't played the GOW series.

If all your hopes and dreams for a console prognosis were dashed because of a demo, then your trolling fails, because at this point, your diagnosis is acute fanboyism.
I think I'm jumping on this, but I'm not so sure, I JUST bought the first two last spring, and spent far too much on some other non-gaming stuff along with some gaming stuff, and since I technically "have" the first two as it is, I might hold off. I know they're good enough to play through again just to see the upgrades though, so I AM still getting it, it's a question of when.

I was sort of in the same boat (I'd bought the two games years ago, but was still planning on waiting), but I caved a month ago. The two games just look so so good, and I wanted to play them again before III was released.

Agreed. I'm definitely interested in the Collection (having never played either game), but I'm happy to wait to see what happens around the GOWIII release date. A trilogy set perhaps?
