Don't know the precise format, but they aren't garden-variety mp3's. They are DRM'ed music files, which makes this a "not hot" deal, no matter what the price.

They are .oma files. You have to install their software to download the soundtrack. You can burn a CD with it once the download is complete, rerip to the format of your choice and uninstall their software. No credit card required if that's all you're getting.
