No mystical ninja starring goemon has the robot fighting 4 battles, one with a samurai bot, one with a fish bot, one with the big rose fortress and one with the robot within the fortress. I remeber this because I beat the game and got a mode where you just fight the boss robots, and I fought them.....over and over and over, much fun.

I really liked both of the N64 mystical ninja games, although I really enjoyed the two player co-op of Goemon's great adventure.
