GOG Deals Thread

Just so you know how much of an anti-DRM maniac I am, as of this moment, my GOG count is now at 205 games.

...In other words, yes—even at 50-something years of age—mine is bigger than all of yours. :whistle2:
You know some of the people in this thread have Steam libraries of over 2000 games, right?

Yeah and I have a console games collection spanning back to the nes that's well over 3000 games as well as my Steam/Origin/Uplay/Desura/GOG collections.

No one here will care about those either seeing as it's the GOG thread and not the thread for any of that other stuff.

Go back to the Steam deals thread, you pro-DRM, rabble-rousing rapscallion!! :boxing:
That's certainly the first time anybody's ever accused me of being pro-DRM.

Look, let me put it this way: even if it's an apples to oranges comparison, if I've got ten times more apples than you've got oranges, I'm not going to be super impressed even if you have oranges coming out of your ears.

I might be concerned, though, that doesn't seem healthy. You aren't contagious, are you?

Hey when it does get bundled I'll be right there with you buying it leeching a copy for my half-brothers fraternal twin's gerbil.

I My father's 6th wife's sister on my uncles side wouldn't mind having a Steam copy as well.

So you're welcome.
Congrats; I genuinely didn't think it was possible for anyone to have more of an absurdist, off-the-wall sense of humour than that of my own.

Anybody need a GOG key for The Witcher 2 (who wants to actually play the game)? I got my free code this morning, so if anyone falls into this category, shoot me a PM.

Extra GOG keys for TW2 are good until Dec. 31st (to get them activated), right?

I don't need one, BTW.

Like yourself - I got an extra.

I'm about to buy cossacks anthology (I read a lot of references to it) and... I'm thinking about sudeki. Reviews are really mixed. I'm intrigued, but don't want to end buying a boring game. Also considering Rogue Trooper, but maybe I'll wait for a steam sale on that one

Edit: bought cossacks and sudeki.

Is there anybody out there who owned one of the two freebies (Witcher 2 or that gamers movie) who completed the stamp collection thingy? Did you get a gift code for both of them? Or was the one you don't own redeemed to your account automatically?

I didn't own either, and I got them both in the form of separate gift codes.

and you think he's a hunk, which is why people watching wrestling...for the oiled hunks
I watch it for the actual wrestling + action.

TNA's a much better product for the actual action + wrestling - which reminds me a lot of ECW + WCW back in the 90's. They were never that great w/ actual stories + plots, though.

I certainly can't be watching WWE for the storylines, swerves, and booking anymore - since WWE has, for the most part, gone way downhill in that regard. They jumped the shark long ago, once the PG Era got ushered in - and especially since no matter what WWE Creative comes up w/, the two main bookers in control (Vince + HHH) don't seem to always be on the same page.

Well, every now and then, WWE will give us a really-really good PPV-quality match on regular TV - i.e. recent matches of Cesaro v. Ambrose on Smackdown; Rollins v. Ambrose NO DQ match on Raw was awesome as well, a recent while back.
