Eh, same as usual - ~$85 for the bundle is WAY too rich for my blood right now, and $7 is high enough where none of those grab me as impulse buys.

Beyond Good and Evil is fantastic if you've never played it, though. :D

I gotta agree with that. I haven't bought a whole lot from GOG when they started that 30/50 thing.

Yes, yes it is!

I've already got a lot of them, but don't want all.

Inexplicably I'm thinking of getting:
-Chessmaster 9000 (always kind of wanted one of these, and it's got multiple boards)
-Heritage of Kings: The Settlers
-Settlers 2 Gold (never played a Settlers)
-Maybe might and Magic 1-6 collection

If you have a PS3 and/or 360 and haven't played Beyond Good and Evil yet, you might want to hold off. It's being rereleased next year in HD with trophy/achievement support.

I truly hope there's a PC release of that HD Beyond Good & Evil. Ubisoft has been very good to PC owners, with series like Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia getting consistent PC releases, but there's been no word yet on this. Then again, that Splinter Cell HD re-release hasn't gotten any PC announcement either. (Then again [again], there's been no official announcement yet, either.)

I've been waiting for Beyond Good & Evil to get to $2.50 on digital distribution websites (Sadly, time and again, the discount price is stuck at $4.99), but I'd gladly pay a normal price for the HD revamp.

Thirded. I don't know why a difference of a couple of bucks makes such a difference to me, but I used to eagerly check the gog.com sale every weekend, and now I can't be bothered because I know I won't buy anything when it's 'only' 30% off.

Getting a $6 game for $3? Great! Getting it for $4.20?! NO WAY!!!!

Didn't they start this new sale thing at the same time they stopped us from being able to access our games as part of that hilarious joke, too? Or shortly after, maybe, as I think I got $3 Arcanum after their funny japery.

I'm a PC owner and they told me I couldn't play their single-player games because my wifi connection isn't perfect (wtf), but they said they'd remove their DRM as soon as it was cracked. Then their DRM was cracked and they did fuck-all. Ubisoft lie to and hate PC owners like me, apparently. :p

You seem a bit confused. Those games are already available in higher resolutions than what the console versions will ever support. There's no reason for Ubisoft to rerelase any of them for PC.
