Gah every time I see Gothic II I want to re-buy it but knowing I can't get use to the cumbersome controls I must resist (traded it my old copy). I know the underlining game is amazing but I just can't get past the inventory interface and controls.

Yeah, most of the reviews say you really have to stick with it and it gets a lot better. Maybe they're talking about getting used to the controls as well as the game itself. Bah, but for a fiver I couldn't resist a huge, open world RPG. I wouldn't have paid the $10, but $4.99 seems pretty reasonable if it's anywhere near decent.
