Is there any chance of Epic Mickey, NBA Jam (360), or Sonic Colors coming back in stock?

I've got Splatterhouse and Donkey Kong Country Returns in my cart, but I can't get a third.

I don't wanna miss out on these two, though. What should I do?
Splatterhouse is only $25.99 NEW for both 360 and PS3 on Amazon right now. If you have Prime, you can get free two day shipping for it as well.

Yea, thanks for the help. I knew about this offer, and it's very enticing. But I also REALLY want DKC:R, too, as well as NBA: Jam, Sonic Colors, and Epic Mickey.

So, I think it might be a better deal to get it in a B2G1. Too bad DKC:R is OOS now :(.

what the hell dude, i didn't start anything with you but disagree with you and offer my 2 cents, you were the attacker and i was the defender, so i label you as the cyber bully, and ask you to return to your home on the interwebs, 4chan and leave us cags alone

Just follow the cyber bully thing, you are falling right into his trap...ignore him and he will just seek amusement elsewhere.

On topic though, I'm still weary of trying this deal out...because I'm kinda afraid that I will do the deal and once again my dollar game will get canceled but the other 2 will ship, so I kinda get screwed on the deal. I don't want that to happen again...but it's very good if you go for older games that aren't at a large risk for going out of stock.

don't do this deal, just go to your local gamestop which is doing a buy 2 get one free, if you rightly feel that you will get the shaft, of if you have a local hasting store go there
so these games come complete?

or is this another company thats trying to be like gamestop?
I think GameStop is imitating goHatings seeing how Hastings was founded in 1968.

It's been mentioned numerous times that 99% of the games come complete as they REQUIRE it when folks trade them in.

Their store rating is Good per BizRate and the "good" reviews FAR outweigh the others.

Actually they're along the lines of an FYE, where they typically care about what the condition of games they're taking in is and most games they ship out are mint/complete.

You may get the random game that looks like ass or is incomplete, but that's the exception and not the rule.

I would do that, it's just the main game I want (Castlevania for PS3) is 32 at gohastings and 54 at Gamestop. I'm afraid to order again though since I ordered it twice last week (once at 25 dollars, once at 21) and both times canceled.

if you go to gamestops website it's 49

I ordered four games total between two separate orders around a couple weeks before Christmas. I received all of them before the 25th. One game's case had a small piece broken off near the opening clasp. Apart from that the worst was some sticker gunk remnants. They all had manuals and the discs were from good to excellent condition.

Buying used games at goHasting's has been no worse than my experience buying used games at Gamestop. It's been indicated that they're making improvements to the inventory system. Although at this point I think you have to realize it is what it is. If you're not able to cope with the cancellations it hardly seems like a good idea to continue to buy here until the availability reporting is improved.

Keep in mind, if goHastings cancels the cheapest game for $1, you can always return all the games, but if they cancel another game, you effectively get B1G1, which would be a ridiculous deal (happened to me once). It's a silly system but works completely in your favor.

Not just Splatterhouse, a lot of the other titles are currently cheaper on Amazon new. And several are also cheaper at KMart this week too (i.e. Sly Cooper Collection). Just a friendly reminder to shop around for the current best deal :)

But as someone who tries to only buy games with credit from trading games and other items Kmart is still off limits to me, unless they started up their game trade thing nationwide now.

I 3was hoping for a canceled order in the B2G1 $1, but I guess goHastings is stepping it up.

I received DKC Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn, and Mafia II Collector's Edition in the prior sale, all in mint condition.

I could potentially trade this brand new Borderlands I bought accidentally for equally the same price in credit but travel about forty-five minutes one way to do it. Decisions, decisions.

Just take a haul with you :)

I'd call your store before making the trek to confirm the prices since there is a disclaimer that prices are subject to change without notice at the bottom of the flyer.

If anyone if interested...they have a used:

 • Xbox 360S 250GB - $218 Shipped
 • Playstation Move Bundle - $66 Shipped

Out of curiosity, how do you "accidentally" buy a game?

Damn. I wish we had Hasting's stores open up here instead of that sucky HHGregg chain. That trade list in the OP would've made me about $160 in credit if those were all getting $20 TIV cuz 8 of those games qualify for the Blockbuster BOGO sale.:bomb:

I emailed them. I'm pretty sure they canceled my $1 game. I ordered two of the same game along with one other game. The game I ordered two of only shipped one. Looks like the total charged is the total for the two full price games. Will Hastings pay return shipping?

Currently goHastings is offering 30% off all book purchases (Game Guides) and 20% off used game purchases with the code JINGLEBELLS. States that used games are limited to two purchases...don't see what would prevent multiple orders though.

Just picked up a book. Super cheap price too with the code :)
I just wish they had more books I wanted in stock :/
FS on books is awesome too.
Doesnt work for all used books - i had three in cart and only 1 had code work with
Yeah, they caught on to some of the collector's editions last go around with the $5 for $25 deal...I went after some older titles.

Picked up seven guides for $22 shipped.

Thread is now wikified!
So, hopefully the OP info will carry on in future deals :)

I'll try and update the weekly ads unless others get to it before me.

Good thing I didn't check out with the items in my cart. I knew a better deal than 20% off used games would come and bam, 30% off in 5 days.

Thanks.. just picked up FFXIII and Dead Rising 2. Also got 14 guides this time around. Haven't really ever gotten into guides but I figured what the heck.. about $2.50 a pop.

Do a lot of people get guides for every game they own if they can? I just got ones that would be an interesting read or help a little bit collecting items and whatnot.
JINGLEBELLS code isnt working for me. its as if i didnt enter it. anybody know a fix?
I often find I have better luck copy & pasting rather than entering it myself and clicking Apply rather than hitting enter.

As someone previously mentioned, it didn't work on all used books.
And if it requires the "I am 17 years old..." check box to be marked, you have to do that before clicking Apply.

I just tested it again, still working for me.

care to elaborate?

If its an M rated game, make sure you check the box that says you're older than 17.

I never felt the need to buy a guide until struggling with Dead Rising 2. For games like that having the guide on the table made it much easier to know the most efficient way to rescue survivors.

When I bought the Dead Rising 2 guide I also picked up guides for a few other games I had for cheap, but I'm not sure I even use them.

BTW when I bought a used Just Cuase 2 guide from gohastings I was acutally sent a brand new shrink wrapped guide.

sorry, i was looking up expensive guides like rdr, i found the cheap ones.
and i want to buy earth defense force for ps3, but it's 0.00 dollars, argh, lol

i was also send a plastic sealed with new label mass effect 2 guide during the 5/$25 deal

I think it's cool to just collect game guides. I picked up Fallout New Vegas and Mass Effect 2 guides and I don't own either game. I wish I could have found a Dead Rising 2 guide though since I just purchased that during the "Ultra Mega Sale" they had 2 weeks ago with free shipping.
They do! $4.18 Shipped with any applicable taxes

It's much easier to search by game guide publisher than the guide itself.
I added links in the OP to easily find game guides.
Thanks. Do you think it's worth it at that price. I mean a new one goes for $3-4 more.
Thanks. Do you think it's worth it at that price. I mean a new one goes for $3-4 more.
All of the guides I have bought as used have arrived in like new condition.

yeah, i had like 10 guides in my cart and then i thought, nah.
i still got super scribblenauts for $3, and marvel vs capcom 3 for $5.
but i passed on alot of $2/3 ones like singularity, far cry 2, resident evil 5, mw2, etc.
i still want rdr but it's out of stock. peace all

yeah, i also have got most of my guides in great condition. worst case was the cover was folded over, but that didnt really upset me, i mean, it's like ships at the dock and they gotta go to sea sometime.

i wish they would tell you if used games were missing codes/dlc etc.
i almost bought alice madness returns used, but found out you only get the original american mcgee's alice with a new copy or else it's 9.99 dlc.
same with fear3, came with new codes, same with mk/etc with game passes.

i want to buy shadow of the damned used, anyone know if im gonna be missing any 'codes' or dlc?
