I picked up Wolfenstein, Medal of Honor, Dead Space 2, Bioshock, and Bioshock 2. Shipping added a lot :( Was 34.63 with 11 and some change on the shipping. Still averages out to just over $9 a game, sounds good to me...
 
Would anyone happen to have a code they do not plan on using? It is my understanding that you had to have a facebook to register for this code, which I am against. I do have a few games that I have been meaning to get though, so if someone isn't going to use theirs I would be greatful. Thanks to anyone that can help.
 
What are the chances that I'll be receiving the Platinum Hits edition if I order games such as RE5, Fable 2, Mass Effect, etc.?

yea you didn't need a facebook account all you needed to do was go to the signup on gohastings facebook page and enter a email address.

Actually I just went to the page someone linked to on FB, entered my email address and then clicked off of the page once it verified it accepted my email and I received the code.

As others have stated, you did not need a Facebook account to take advantage of the offer; the sign-up page just happened to be their Facebook page. I didn't even "Like" the page and could just enter my email address, and I received a code without a problem.
 
Well, I went ahead and placed an order...Had $95 to burn on a gift card, and had so spend an extra $3 of real money, so not too bad, assuming everything ships. I'm glad these coupons have a long expiration; it gives me a chance to take some more stuff into the store to get a little more credit, in case they have some compelling price drops on the website between now and the end of the month.
 
I know its uncouth to have ones hand out but; Does anyone have a code?

My mistake, I was under the impression one had to "like" the page. Ignore my previous request. I can wait for the next 30%-ish off to get the games I am looking for. Thanks for the information though.
 
Guys, do me a solid, please? I need 14 codes to buy some stuff. PLEASE! I can't even afford a toilet in my house, and I need to buy some games for my 12 kids, myself, and my wife. They all need to be separate, though! PLEASE! ONLY 14 CODES!

But wouldn't you need 14 different goHastings accounts? And besides, can't you just have all the games you want in one shopping cart with one code and the 40% off would apply to all of them?

If you're managing 12 or more separate families, though (say, one code per kid of an estranged ex-wife, each at different locations with you using different aliases), then I would understand.

Ordered Little Big Planet 2, Motorstorm Apocalypse and Bulletstorm for $58 or so. Came out to around $64 after shipping. Pretty good and I've been wanting the first two games. I'm glad I waited since they were both out of stock earlier.

I almost wanted to get a few more games but I didn't want to spend too much.

I would say it took me about 5-8 minutes. Since you stated it either had to be the same number or letter for both blank spaces I started with the alphabet
and when I landed on the letter "U" it worked. Quick tip, since I ordered an M rated game, it would not register the promotional code until I had clicked on
the verify you're 17 box every time I entered a different letter on the promotional code box. I know it sounds weird but it would not give me a "deny" or "valid"
code until I re-checked the box.

After cleaning up during the Blockbuster sale, there wasn't much I wanted here, but picked up Green Day Rock Band and Band Hero for 360....just got the Warriors of Rock Super Bundle for $15 from the TRU mistake so these will be nice to play.

$13.XX shipped for both.
 
For the price I'd definitely recommend FIRST TEMPLAR (360).

A "budget" game with plenty of action, nice looking levels, amusing voice acting and co-op play. For under $20 with the coupon, very well worth the $$ IMO.

I don't think they do. I put HD Neptunia on my list and it has come back in and out of stock since I added it, but no email alert.
 
well, im furious. i wanted to order The Show. had it in my cart yesterday, went to order...out of stock. so i put a "previously viewed" in my cart. it didnt apply the discount. today its showing the discount applied...but SURPRISE! Now its out of stock. screw this sale.

fuck flippers and multiple copy orderers.

Or people who just bought the game when you didn't... I'm so sick of hearing about hoarders and flippers. Until you show me proof of someone ordering 100+ copies of a game and simultaneously making that game go out of stock, STFU.

I previously agreed with this sentiment during the 2 for $50 sale at TRU for LA Noire/MK/etc, but this sale doesn't seem like a flipper's delight. Gotta pull the trigger or live with the consequences. What could have been...!
 
You know the shipping slip that comes with your package actually states how many copies of the game goHastings had in stock when they fulfilled your order...

I've never once seem those numbers be over 20 so I'm pretty sure they're not sitting on hundreds of copies of these games you're all looking for.

If it sells out, well then you're SOL. Try being faster.

lol i love when people don't get in on the deal fast enough and then blame flippers. where exactly are these flippers making a huge profit off The Show? i was told i was a flipping hoarder the other day cuz i got yakuza 4 on amazon, where exactly is the huge flip from yakuza 4 im gonna make $$$ on? if im lucky i will get what i paid for it... im a flipper, but still, it's like blaming sd for every deal going dead. jump on the train or don't, but don't constantly whine about your own hesitation or lateness to the party.

that being said my 2 copies of black ops prestige just shipped for 36, woot!

i wanted to "jump on the train" but it didnt apply the discount. i planned on calling today first thing to see if hastings can fix it. but now its sold out. oh well, not a huge deal.
