okay I'll keep you in mind and let you know in a week or so if I intend on using it. I most likely will not. All I want right now is Dragon Age 2 (it is actually still in stock), but I think I can wait on that one seeing how I haven't finished the first. I also want Crysis 2, but I think I can wait for a cheaper price on that too.

Still looking for a code myself if anyone has a spare.

Is there any way to get a tracking number from gh? I want to use these coupons to swap for games on another site, but I need a tracking number as a part of the requirements

Sometimes when your order ships you get a tracking number in the email, sometimes you don't. There's absolutely no way to tell. It probably comes down to how lazy the individual employee at the individual store shipping your item is.

I believe all items ship with a tracking code though, so theoretically GoHastings should have it on file even if they don't give it to you in the shipping confirmation email.

Don't know if that helps you any.

You should get an email with the tracking number when your item(s) ship.

I have unused code #3 of 12. Please post when used.

1_VGJS_D

Guess the 2 missing numbers or letters. BTW, 2 are the same.

Please check back for more codes.

And somebody used it while I was checking out, thanks buddy!

Why won't the GLADOS code take any money off the used PS3 games in my cart? It says the code has been applied, but the price is still the same. Help please. Did I miss something, or is their site borked?

Every time I think about shopping at their website I see stories like this. Makes me not want to shop at their site

Did you choose 2 qualifying EA titles?

Btw my heavy rain shipped haha. I ordered a few min after that hle guy.

It's really not that hard. You just have to make sure that you click the right buttons. Their site just isn't top notch, it's not that they're trying to trick anyone.

I've gotten 5 used games from them now. Each came in great condition and complete. Fairly quick shipping too! (3xDS 2xPS3)

Half my order was just cancelled! Out of my 9 games bought and they were the games I was most looking forward too... Awesome... Thanks for sending me the confirmation letter GoHastings, then ripping my heart out and kicking it across the room.

So many games I wanted to get, but I already went and bought a bunch of co-op games. Ended up getting 2 copies of Reach for 24 bucks shipped.

You should try giving them a call or emailing them to see if they can provide you with another code to try later in the week. No guarantee but it's worth a shot, especially if they were the ones that you really wanted.

... i hate goHastings. i wonder if location has anything to do with this? oh well... what's worse is that I cannot reuse my code even if Heavy Rain comes back in stock before the 31st.

I'm from California, you? I do want to know why mine is shipped n yours cancelled though. My theory was that they fulfill orders in the late order.

But hey, I do have another code, I'll PM you, hopefully find another heavy rain..

im on the east coast, no goHastings stores around here. so i was thinking that a store close by you had a copy in stock? im thinking it would make more sense for them to ship from cali to cali then cali to MD... but who knows.

thanks for the code tho! hopefully i can get another copy n the next two weeks.
Shadows of the Damned (PS3) is back in stock (USED), but my 40% code doesn't work on it... bummer.
Same problem here, plus a price hike. Jerks.

yeah that happened with a few games. RDR back in stock +$10, shadows of the damned back in stock +$10, littlebigplanet 2 back in stock +$20ish! wtf!
lbp2 was 37.75 now it's like 53! that's crazy.
there goes my, wait for stock to show up and then get it. i guess just hoping the prices go back down.

We do not have any Hastings in California, as far as I know.

I know of locations in Kansas, Arizona and Texas. Maybe one or two other states, but not a lot of stores overall. I'd deal with the taxes if they'd just build one here in North Carolina. :(

Also, my Red Faction: Armageddon shipped lastnight. :bouncy:

Checked my order status online, 3 of 12 games now show out of stock. Called customer service and the rep told me that those games will be cancelled from my order. I had placed my order within 30 seconds of receiving the 40% off code. One game, Kingdom Hearts 2 shows still in stock, but she said it was not. My other two games cancelled are Kingdom Hearts and Harry Potter Lego (PS3). Nothing shows shipped yet. Oh well...

yup. they price-increased everything that comes back in stock. cant believe they did that after their big post about how they dont raise prices for sales.

It makes sense, if they have many copies of a game in the price will be lower. If they have only a few copies the price will be higher.

Yep. This is how their pricing system has always done things.

But don't try and get through to the people here, there's a whole pile of users who only come out of their holes to bitch and theorize about gohastings in these threads. Amazon and GS have their respective derp squads too.

Supply High, Cost Low
Supply Low, Cost High

As they replenish, the price will go down. I just want *1* game... DW: Gundam 3.

way to jack up the price on some of the games gohastings
not like it matters. the code VVaffle gave me turned out to be ALREADY USED (thanks a lot) so there goes my wait-it-out plan
Both my Bulletstorm and Fable III shipped this morning. Now lets hope the condition is alright.
if you bought them USED, then 90% chance it'll be it be in great condition (may even come with un-used code) and 95% chance it'll be in good condition

So far, all my games came either in good or great so you're chances are high
any chance i can use the code for a kinect?
I think the promo is for used games only
you can try. as long as you don't CHECKOUT with the code then you can still use it

Has anyone purchased a game that was listed as Previously Viewed before? The copy of Dead Rising 2 was Previously Viewed. Should I be expecting a beat to hell copy? For $6 I'm thinking yes...
Has anyone purchased a game that was listed as Previously Viewed before? The copy of Dead Rising 2 was Previously Viewed. Should I be expecting a beat to hell copy? For $6 I'm thinking yes...
Previously viewed is a former rental copy, so yes.

80% chance you'll either get a beat up copy or one in a rental case. 20$ chance it'll come in good or great condition (complete) I never ordered PV games so I couldn't say but heck DR2 for $4 u just can't pass up even if it's PV

Dean,
I looked at the Call Center ticket and there must have been a misunderstanding. What I show is that only Kingdom Hearts II has been cancelled on your order and that is what the call center ticket says. You should have received a confirmation email after the call that states:

"Items are still on order. Please replace order for Kingdom Hearts II and call back with new order number."

The notes on the ticket state that the order will be price matched after it is placed (I think they refund it back after it ships).

Although you won't see an update until tonight, I looked at Harry Potter Lego and it was processed and packaged for shipment today. This item is out of stock but you had ordered the copy before it went out of stock. This item has not been cancelled.

Also, you ordered a Previously Viewed copy of Kingdom Hearts II. The Previously Viewed is out of stock but the Used version is still in stock.

John

PS - Kingdom Hearts (not II) is at a store waiting to be picked but it has not yet been processed.
Patience guys, it usually takes 2 or 3 days for Hastings to ship stuff. They aren't the fastest. Usually takes about 7 to 10 days to receive your items and only like 4 days of that at most is shipping time.
Ordered two days ago and received shipping confirmations on all 6 games this morning, each with its own tracking number so it looks like they're shipping from different warehouses. It'll be interesting to see if they arrive at staggered times.

Yes, Bravo indeed.
Thanks for adding additional info to that member's concern...helps to understand the full situation as the addiional info likely wouldn't have been posted.

Seems more than reasonable to me.

It's been mentioned before that just because an item states it's out of stock, it DOES NOT mean that part of the order will be canceled...it's just the real time status of the item.

I'll add the info to the OP if I haven't already.
