I'm sure their are a couple of you that have been to Japan, but has anyone ever gone to a store called Book Off? This is like heaven for cheap video game/ anime nerds. They sell used Manga very cheap for like $1 per book. And used video games ranging from SNES - PS2 for very cheap as well.

I went in 3 diffrent Book Offs and walked out with numerous rare imports like Castlevania X (Saturn, yep they still sell that over their) and even brand new Chrono Triggers for like $5. I completed my entire King of Fighters collection buy picking up 95, 96 and 97 for Saturn for under $30. And the games they take in are perfect. My gf told me they won't take in any game without a Spinecard.

I also bought a bunch of King of Fighters mangas, like 25 of em. Each one was 100 Yen each which is alittle under a dollor here in the States. I kept 5 of em and sold the other 20 on eBay as a lot for $80.

If anyone's been there, what have you found, I'd be intrested to know.

I want to go to Japan some day. Not only do I have a huge intrest in Videogames, but I would also love to visit Toho studios (the company that makes the Godzilla films) if its possible to visit them.

There is a Book Off in NYC (Mrs. CheapyD buys her books there), but they do not sell video games. However, they do seem to have a bunch of video game soundtracks.

I stayed with my girlfriend's family in Shinjuku, Tokyo. There were 3 of them within a 5-7 mile radius.
