I got a quick question for you all

Ive got a Goldstar 3DO with the FMV board insatlled. Anyone have any idea what it may be worth? I have 2 controllers and the av cables for it as well.

Thanks for any help.

Not as much as you think. I do want to get my hands on one though. I remember playing my friend's back in the day, and Need For Speed was sweet on it.

Yeah i looked ony ebay but i couldnt find any that have the fmv board installed. I think that would take the value up a bit. Im also considering selling my Jaguar and Jaguar cd units with all the games and accessory's.

Need some money, but dont we all? or at least most of us

Yeah, I don't think that the Goldstar ones are worth that much, and what did the fmv board let you watch? VCDs? I forget.

Also, depending on what games you have for the Jag setup, that might fetch you a couple hundred or so. I think the CD unit is worth about $100, Jag unit is like $20, and games are $1-$200 depending on which ones. Battlesphere was like $200 at one point, but maybe it's gone down. The only one I can find on eBay has over 4 days left, is packaged with Air Cars (never released) and is under $50 at this moment.

Well as far as the games go for the Jag they are nothing outta the ordinary. A few cd games, a few carts, i also have the memory track to go with it and the multiplayer adapter. Also have the box to the memory track and the Jag base unit. Some of the cart games have boxes and all the cd games do. Think i should start it about 150?

Thanks for any advice.

about the jaguar, I just started collecting it. I have purchased quite a bit in the last few months. altogether I have the following:

brand new never opened (until I did) base unit

basically new complete in box cd unit with in pack games

boxed memory track

around 35-40 games (cart and cd combined) with all but 4 carts boxed plus the team tap - new

a few extra boxed controllers

I think the total amount I paid for everything was around 300.00 or so.

I have noticed that boxed jaguar stuff fetches some decent $ most of the time. so if you have the box for the base unit or anything else make sure you specify that in your auction. in other forums I read/post at people will pay a nice premium for boxed games/systems. example; if you have a boxed Avs.P make sure you feature that since a boxed game of that can get as much as and sometimes more than 50.00 just for that. I have also seen just a boxed Jag base unit sell for around 100.00 but also around 50.00 (YMMV).

another thing, if the condition of the boxes are really good you may get even more since collectors will actually bid on stuff just to replace worn items for better looking stuff.

sorry if this is an obvious point but I would also try to have the auction end on a Saturday night. auctions I have watched for Jag items seem to go a bit higher on a Sat. just seem to catch a bit more than if it ended on a weekday.

I hope this helps and I hope I just didn't spit out a bunch of common known stuff. I'm just trying to contribute to this great forum I have just recently discovered.

oh, I forgot something else, make sure you use the term "RARE". you could get lucky and have some ebay newbies get into a bidding frenzy over it.

EDIT: here are a few examples of recent sales of Jag stuff from just one seller -
