GONE Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicals (GC) 15.97 + 1.40 shipping - NEW
Doesn't FF:CC have a trade in value of $20 or $25 somewhere?
Right, that's what I was thinking.... Was gonna get two and trade them in for Pucell Tactics or something....

Too late now.

I just went there and it says in stock.

I would get it, but I already have it.

Does this game suck that bad to be this cheap? Is it better then Mystic Quest? I have not opened mine yet. I am too busy right now playing other games.

Chris

Once you add it to your cart it says out of stock.

EDIT: 200th post WHOO, i know, pretty sad for a mod to just be getting to 200.

You can't even get this game for under $40 anyplace else (Outpost.com is the only one that even has it at that new).

sm - i doubt that other stores will drop their prices on this game just yet

x0 - if it gets restocked, you will have to know about it within 2 seconds of the restock in order to get in on it....not to mention be quick on the checkout...though ive never personally seen overstock go out of stock for long....hence their name

in - it makes me wonder if we can start a new website www.secretcheapassgamer.com for the really, really good deals...but shit....i just gave out the website

You know, every overstock.com deal I've ever wanted on here seems to have this happen... maybethey should be more aware of the going prices for games, they could've kept it in stock, discourages the "20 copies" types, if they had it at $25 or something... I still would've bought one.

It just pays to be lucky sometimes. I just happened to log on probably a minute after that guy posted the topic. There weren't even any replies yet. I quickly hit the link and tried to get my information in as quick as possible because I figured it wouldn't last long. Luckily, I was able to snag a copy. I only ordered one so I left whatever was left for everyone else.

I still remember coming home from work one day, logging on here and seeing that Wario World had been on sale for $10 earlier in the day. Naturally, I missed out. I was really disappointed. But yeah, I agree, this site is so popular that if you don't happen to see a great deal within a few minutes after being posted you might as well forget it.

Why don't you get a JOB to buy a game, and let people who ACTUALLY want to PLAY the game take advantage of deals like this...
Buying a game to trade in to get an extra 2 dollars is just ridiculous, don't you have anything better to do with your time???
I guess people want to give Gamestop and EB even more money while they charge 45 for a used copy and you're content with the 2 dollars you got...
If you call yourself a gamer you'd leave the deals around for other PLAYERS of the game instead of trying to get off on two dollars and giving corporations another 20 bucks in their pockets...
Who cares about everyone else, as long as the corporation gets what they want and I save 2 dollars?
You sound more like a republican than a gamer...
Disgusting...

For once... I am glad that my dogs woke me up early this Saturday morning, I actually found this here before anyone had replied, and YES... I only ordered ONE copy :D :D :D

What is up with the bullshit of buying a game to make $5 on a trade-in? You do realize that you are making EB and GameCrazy rich by doing this!!! Leave the games for the gamers and go get a job... $5 is not worth any effort to trade games.

i agree and disagree with the order more than one situation....i think everyone here tries to play the good guy role a little too much....almost everyone on here acts like their saints and i dont know who they think they're fooling...i didnt get to take advantage of this offer (missed out completely)....but given the chance....and if i had enough money in the bank....i probably would've bought a few extra copies....but i know i wouldn't have traded 'em in....thats a rip off...

id like to see a little more honesty on this site....and a little less "afraid of what they'll think of me"

EDIT: just needed to add this little extra tidbit in here.....now please prove my point of "the good guy role" thing by yelling at me

same here, I saw the deal before there were any responses and jumped on it. only ordered one copy, wanted to let as many ppl in on the deal as possible.

the only times I've ordered more than one copy of a game online were some of the EBGames.com deals about a month back, where the games were < $10. the thought of having to mail back returns annoys me to the point that I don't even want to think of the possibility.

Ummm...hope you guys aren't pointing fingers at me. I wouldn't go through the hassle of doing that. I didn't go through the prior EB deal for FF:CC because the Gamestop manager was being a real pain. I could only afford one game anyway.

So I should assume this won't come back in stock?

And I should definitely assume that none of those who picked up more than 1 were doing so to be a kind soul and help out a fellow CAG?

Okay then.... :(

First, It's not like I would have bought ten copies. I would have bought 2. TWO! And second, if I can get an extra ten bucks on trade in value, and combine it with a deal like the extra ten on trade ins that EB ran, (I dunno if that's still running) we're talking about getting double your value back.

You guys are just bitter because you missed out. There is nothing out of line with buying two copies of a game. If it was six or eight I might be there with you but two is not a problem.

I remember the CC Clone/Wars Tetris Deal. There were ten copies at CC. I bought three. Two for myself and one for a friend. When I went back a week later there were still five copies left. I bought two more, and left three for other people. That's not being piggish, that's giving others a shot while getting in on a good deal.

Hey, just to let everyone know...it's 30 @ Sam's Club, if anyone has one by you. Not nearly as good as this deal, of course, but FF:CC is indeed rapidly dropping in price. Reminds me of Xenosaga.

watch the game be a used, Hong Kong knockoff :) Just kidding, that's a real good find. Hopefully more are stocked soon

The one deal that I actually had the opportunity to take advantage of (I too was up at 9), and I already have the damn game

It's not like I spent a bunch when I got it at launch though. It cost me $22 through the EB trade in deal.
