What are some good reasonable PSP games.. I am getting psp and want to spend my cash in the best way

I like fighting (tekken fan) military/action, flying and some racing..
not into rpg or sports

I am going to get the new tekken and a few others?? just don't know what to layout the cash for

Suggestions?

circuit city starting sunday has a 2 game for $30 deal. for PSP there's Star Wars: BF II, Hot Shots Golf,, and some other part of this sale
Lumines - Simply a must-own
Definitely snag this one.

Also give Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror a spin. I was browsing the thread with everyone's top 10 and this was a consensus with everyone. I enjoyed it. I just finished it a few minutes ago.

Ape Escape: On The Loose $20 GH
Darkstalkers Chronicle
Hot Shots Golf Open Tee $20 GH
Lumines $20
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X $20
Mega Man Powered Up $20
Metal Gear Acid $20 at some places and used
PQ Pratical Intelligence $15 at TRU, $20 everywhere else
Ridge Racer $20 used
Tokobot $20
Twisted Metal: Head On $20 GH
Virtua Tennis $10 at Sears
Wipeout Pure $20 GH

Virtua Tennis for $10 at sears? that a great deal. are these at all Sears or YMMV? last time i went to sears 4 or 5 months ago and their video games section was overpriced and had lousy selections. thats why i rarely go there

Did Street Fighter officially drop to $20? If so, I'd get that, Hot Shots, both Mega Man, maybe Darkstalkers, and Metal Gear Ac!d, and then prey every night for a Burnout drop.
Wipeout Pure, and if you're lucky, find a European copy, it's got 2 extra download packs (The Omega series)
I just got heavily into my European Copy, and the difficulty takes a steep upswing compared to the US version, something to take into consideration if you like challenging racers. You can find them on ebay or more notably ebay.co.uk, with going rate between £5 and £10, and new from HMV (co.uk) for £19 shipped to the US (not particularly a deal on the title itself, but if you want brand spanking new, its the best way to go)

Thanks all,

I picked up a copy of NSF - underground rivals 14.99
and splurged and got Tekken Dark Resurrection (reason I really got my psp) and

got as gift capcon collection Remix - its fun
and ATV offroad fury - Blazin Trails? is it any good, I have it on my GCN is it worth 20? or save it to trade on another

Keep the suggestions comin' appreciate em all and even the warning on the titles to avoid

Romis..
ATV Offroad Fury is a Sony 1st party game? Are you talking about you played an ATV on PS2 or ATV Quad for GCN?

Anyway, I haven't played it yet, but heard mixed results. I normally hear the loading is long, the controls are twitchy, and the game isn't too forgiving on crashes. But if you're a fan of the series, you'll probably like it. I'm probably going to get it, since I like the ATV Offroad Fury series, and I would like another online PSP game.

Yea, I've heard bad things about ATV for the PSP. Avoid it.

Get the Mega Man remakes, at $20 apiece. You really could rack up at the 2 for $30 sale at CC this week.

sj41 - Thanks for the shoutout in your sig! :D
Thanks all,

I picked up a copy of NSF - underground rivals 14.99
aw yeah good choice homie,

especially considering the fact that NOBODY IN THIS WHOLE THREAD EVEN RECOMMENDED DAT GAME!!!

anyway, do yourself a big favor and get LUMINES.

dat shit gonna make your hands and eyes HURT! HURT I SAY!

but hurt in a good way
I just bought ATV Off Road Fury and it really isn't that great. I would stay away from it.
Were you into the ATV series before? I just wonder, since I'm still considering that game.

The difference between me and most people is that I'm a little difficult to disappoint though.

As for Lumines, I think the game is good, but very overrated. I hear people say they call their PSP Lumines, since that's all they play; however, I have it, and it's far from being one of my favorite PSP games.
Whats the word on Mercury?
I donno mang what is the word on mercury??

well taking a look at this thread THERE IS NO WORD!!

I mean got damn man! do u even read your own thread?!?!

if no one mention it, it must not be good!!

anyway naw man Im jus playin wit u...

but still, mercury plays exactly like how it looks, not that good (I rented it).

get Lumines. trust me

Another vote for Lumines, just make sure you have some good headphones.

Too bad you don't like sports or rpgs. I've been playing Hot Shots Golf and Kingdom of Paradise for two weeks straight. Good stuff.

Metal Gear Acid 1&2 kick ass, just try it.
Lumines
twisted metal
ridge racer
X-men legends 2 isn't bad for a beat'um up

I did see a price drop on Street Fighter Alpha the other day but it was only to $29.99 and not $20 like some of the other games on the GH list. Luckily I found a used copy of it for $17.99. Ofcourse it was sticker priced wrong but they had to sell it to me for that.

Burnout Legends, perhaps the best racer for the PSP is now on sale for $19.99 at Fry's til Tues. If you have a Fry's, get that game at once.

Oh snap! Overstock deal of the day: Untold Legends. I don't care if you don't like RPGs or Action RPGs you don't pass up a $12 PSP game!

bread's done
