looks good to me, but is it too good to be true?

seems pretty reasonable, its an older video card though and alot of the new cards are now pci express and the pci-e cards tend to run a bit cheaper than the equivlent agp

its alright, you should really get a PCI-express card b/c thats whats going to be the new "thing" and that card is outdated (the 9600)

ibuypower.com has intel and amd PCI-E expresses starting just over 500 bones. Both sites overprice for ram and video cards-- so if you're planning on getting high end stuff, order the basic configuration off that site.

You can then get a 6600gt, or an X800pro for pretty cheap off newegg, as well as a dual channel 2G DDR3200 kit, all of that will run you an extra 300-350 bucks, and you'll have a much better setup than the one you posted.

thanks yall!

i ended up building the same computer with geforce 6600 256mb with the pci express thing for only 750

its better and cheaper! yay!
