So I have a 32 gig iPod touch that I got about a month ago. I realized I don't really care about the functionality of the thing and I have already filled it up with music. I was looking to trade it for a classic iPod with tons of storage. I really wanted a 160 gig classic, but I was offered a 120 gig classic and $50 for my touch. Is this crazy for me to do, or is it a decent deal?
Which generation is the classic?
I think 120 is one below what is current, so the one he is offering would be 6th generation.

Do it. I like the touch but if all you are going to use it for is music then 32GB is nowhere near enough storage, IMO. I have a 6th Gen classic and I LOVE it.

Well I just got an offer of $225 for my touch. I think I may take that and then just buy a new 7th generation classic for $25. What does everyone think of that?

There's only one generation of the Classic, they just replaced the 120 with the 160. Best Buy has them for $228, so it wouldn't even cost you $25. I paid $250 for an 80gb Classic, I sure wish I could trade it for a Touch.

Take the $225 and buy a new one. I have a 120 GB Classic and love it. I'm really happy that I got a classic instead of a touch. The iPod touch is a piece of crap that barely works. The Wifi sucks and so does the touch screen.
