Good Digital Camera?

Im looking to buy a digital camera...I dont really know anything about cameras....I want one at least 5 megapixels and thats about it.....any suggestions?

Canon SD Series.

SD400/450, or 500/550

400/450's have 5 MP, the 500/550's have 7MP.

The 400/500 have 2.0 inch LCDs, the 450/500 have 2.5 inch LCDs

You should ask yourself (and tell us) what you want to use it primarily for... that will help determine if you want, say, something nice and compact that you can take anywhere, or maybe something a little larger that has a longer zoom for sports photos.

I second the Canon recommendation. I have the Digital Rebel XT, and some limited experience with their point-and-shoots. Good cameras, in my experience.

Id like it to have a fast shutter speed and good zoom....and thats just about it.....lol
