Good DS Deal??

Hi,

i recently was given the oppurtunity to buy a used DS in pretty damn good condition, but without a charger or stylus for $50 plus a few games (the kid recently got a psp and wants to get rid of it)

should i get this or wait for the DS lite?

So it would be roughly $70 (give or take a few dollars) after you buy a stylus and charger which is pretty decent. Honestly I would pass and get a Lite. The improvements to the screen alone is worth the price.

If the brighter screen (there wasn't much wrong with the original screen), new colors and smaller form factor don't matter all that much to you, then go ahead and get that used one. It seems like an awesome deal.

which games is he including? and the charger is extremely cheap on amazon(it was like $4 or so i think?). the stylus should be cheap as well, tho maybe not, i suppose you could try to get someone in the trade forums to sell you their extra stylus on the cheap(every nintendo DS includes 2 stylus)

i dont really remember the games that the kid was offering, but if the screen of the ds is at least much better than the reguler GBA, then ill gladly take this deal instead of getting the lite

I would jump on it without a second thought. Since the charger is that cheap I would buy it without thinking considering a stylus is very cheap considering you can use pretty much anything. Like a pencil, rock, stick, finger, knife or anything else really. But seriously, you can buy 3d party styli? at clearances very often.

i just got the $50 DS, it came with a case, Mr. Driller Spirits, Super Mario 64, Metroid Hunters Demo Megaman Zero 3, and Sword of Mana

I'd get it and trade it in if you can still get $70 at EB then get a Lite

You really could sell all of that and pretty much have a DS Lite for free. Great deal!

Remember if you have a gba sp already you can just you the charger for it and save yourself buying one

DS lite of course. without the stylus it is already not in good condition
