as anybody who reads my posts on the DS forums knows, days of ruin has me super excited. online? I'm still washing the shit stains out of my pants

I'd be more excited about Advance Wars if I had finished AW2: Black Hole Rising. and started AW DS. Oh, how the backlog grows.

Forget Dragon Quest 9, where's my DQ4 remake? :)

Professor Layton & Ace Attorney 4 are the only ones I must buy for sure right away(and yes, Layton really shouldn't have been delayed). The rest of the list is really good but not must haves for me. Ninja Gaiden is a possibility depending on reviews. I'm sure Advance Wars: Days of Ruin will be great, but I'm not sure if I'm getting it or not yet.

I will be picking up Ninja Gaiden if the touch screen controls arent ass. Advance Wars, FFCC: RoF, and PW4 are maybes. Who am I kidding, I probably will pick those up too.

Word of warning for those interested in FFCC: The main game is only 10 hours long. Both reviews on Gamefaqs report this. Oh, and the AI fucking sucks.
I'm definitely getting Professor Layton and PW4. Curses for Professor Layton being delayed!!
Same here. And dammit, I too want Dragon Quest IX!

Professor Layton still hasn't been released?

I was actually wondering the other day what might have happened to it.

Am I the only one who hasn't heard of Professor Layton? I figured it was some shovelware when I saw it listed, but it's what most people in this thread are talking about :)

A Level 5 game is shovelware? Is this bizzaro CAG?

Wow, can't believe how many people dismiss AW. I really haven't played the DS much the second half of this year - just some Picross and DQM more recently. I have Zelda but haven't gotten to it yet. But I'll be all over AW as soon as it comes out - good to see there's a January pickup for me as I don't think I have anything coming in December. I actually have some old EB preorders that I need to cancel and it is always nice to be able to move them over to something else. I can't think of a single other thing coming out for ANY system that EB/GS will have avaialble for preorder (thus things like DQ IX, Mario Kart Wii, etc without firm release dates are excluded). I just hope they don't add the EB/GS $5 DS game "tax" to it.

I haven't heard much about this Professor Layton game either except the occasional reference here on CAG, bit if it is a Level 5 product I'll definitely keep my eye on it. I loved me that Rogue Galaxy!

amen, brother! I'm replaying advance wars again, and its super-fun. really looking forward to new one. oh, and when you abbreviate the game, it turns up as AW:DS

stupid smiley

No, no, I meant only when I heard the name of the game. Like I said, I don't know anything about it.

Level 5, eh? I'm suddenly interested.

I might check out Mario & Sonic and FFCC if the reviews are halfway decent. Otherwise, nothing for me. I've still got a bit of catching up to do from 2007 anyway.

Its not an RPG but rather a point and click with some seriously sick visuals.

After thinking about it, could it have been delayed so there wouldn't be as long of a delay between the release of the first and second game (and then a possible release of the third one Christmas time next year)?

Rune Factory 2 is coming out jan. 3rd in japan, so hopefully we see that sequal sometime next year as well.

Professor Layton and Apollo Justice. With all the titles coming out for other systems as well, this is going to be a very good first quarter for gaming.

After a very sub-part Q4'07, Q1'08 looks to be a killer. Advance Wars, Layton, and PW4 give me a game to buy every month. Just as I officially go broke.

January 2008
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (Must buy & hope it'll be Excellent game)

February 2008
Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword (Pre-order it for Special Stylus if bad game i'll return it and keep the Stylus bonus)

Professor Layton and the Curious Village (Still hope GREAT Review)

March 2008
Phoenix Wright 4: Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (I loves 1/2/3 & can't wait for the 4th game)

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates (Hope it drop down $20 or less cos most Square & Enix game MSRP $39.99)

Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (I'll be buying this when it comes out I enjoyed the first AW DS game.)
Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness(I love HM games, but Harvest moon DS with the glitches and stuff i'll wait for reviews and any info on glitches i'm hoping there's none if it's good i'll get it with a coupon or if not that good probably on clearance or something.)

February 2008
Professor Layton and the Curious Village(Day one buy for this not sure why, but since I first learned about this game in nintendo power i've been wanting to play this also the trailer of it looks really fun can't wait.) :bouncy:

March 2008
Phoenix Wright 4: Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney(Day one buy too i've been a fan since the first was released.)
None of these interest me. Meh.
I suppose I take that back. If they do end up offering that Ninja Gaiden stylus from TGS/E For All as a preorder bonus, I'll be buying Dragon Sword. Otherwise, my previous statement stands.

I want (just in Q1):

Ace Attorney 4
Professor Layton
Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles
Mario and Sonic: At the Olympics
