Good DVD deals @ Sams Club YMMV

Yaeh, I confirm this as well as I just got back. I was just about to post these when I saw the OP post on the front page. The OP got the majority of the boxsets, but he missed Ally McBeal Season 1. These seem just to be the Fox Season 1 sets that go on sale quite often. I was hoping for King of the Hill Season 1 for $14.99 but my Sam's didn't have any.

This is at every Sam's Club, so i dont know why its YMMV. Oh and this has to have been posted three or four times already in the last 6 weeks or so.

Those of you getting 24 should know you're making a much larger committment. Buying season 1 for $20 only means you'll drop $80 or more on 2 & 3 combined. Well worth it though in my opinion.
I've been watching 24 season 1. Realy great stuff.
I picked up 24 a few weeks back at Sams, and I thought it was well worth it. While I don't think it's the best TV show ever (that would be Arrested Development) it's more then worth the $20 price tag.

damn, just bought s1 of 24 for $28 shipped on fatwallet. oh well, its mint and $5ish isnt gonna kill me. I bet its worth $28 anyway

And for below $20
Angel S1
The Sheild S1
King of the Hill S1
Buffy S1
The Shield is $20
The others are $15

My Sams also had The Bernie Mac Show S1 for $15.

I don't think it's just Sam's Club... I bought King of the Hill S1 for $14.99 at the Wal-Mart here in Jasper, IN a little over a month ago. They had all of the titles the OP listed in a stand up front by the check-out where they usually put the big new release of the week and the $5.50 bin. I only saw it that once though. No luck since then.

Not unless they wait until those are $20 too! That will be hard though considering you'll likely be hooked and need to watch the next 2 seasons immediately.

Anyone actually buy that Ally McBeal DVD? As far as the internet is concerned, the only Ally DVD released in the US is a 6-episode "best of" sort of set. If this one at Sam's is actually a season set, sign me up.
