so i sold my SNES with 10 games on Monday night to a fella who was getting it for his gf as a present. details here.

many people said he got a good deal/great deal from me, and i'd have to agree, cause i didn't even bother negotiating, he made the offer and i accepted with a smile. i thought we both came out like champs. (i play hold'em this way too, and have split pots quite a few times)
well, good karma came my way tonight. (some of you may know i'm setting up a MK

D LAN) i decided to stop by CC after work to check out the current sales, and various prices on products; broadband adapters, widescreen lcd, etc.
i took up two copies of MK

D and one copy of 1080 Avalanche to the counter, and asked customer service if they were eligible for the 2 for $30. he scanned them and said no, and then noted they were all full price at $49.99 each. i asked if he could PM 1080 Avalanche to GameStop's $14.99, he said he'd have to check, and i said 'sure, i'll wait.' (i'm guessing he looked it up online, cause i couldn't see the screen) Wow! was his expression, $14.99! so he PM'ed plus for me, and 1080 Avalanche came to $11.49.
He then asked if i wanted the 2 copies of MK

D. i told him the games were going to be player's choice titles soon, so i'll probably wait. i mentioned that i was able to get a copy from Best Buy for $9.99 (on 1/10/2005). he said if i could show proof, then he'd be glad to PM MK

D for me as well!

(what a nice guy! was he a CAGer i wondered?!) so i quickly rummage through my wallet looking for my BB receipt, no luck. i asked him if he could hold the 2 copies for me while i went home and grabbed my receipt, he said 'sure!'
Vrrroooommmm.....yeeee, (slam door, Boom), home, run inside, grab receipt, and back to CC.
Walked in and showed him my receipt from BB, including a separate price verification. okay, he nodded, and proceeded to PM'plus the game for me! Wow!

 am i on candid camera!? no way this is happening! he adjusted it from $49.99 to $5.99, on both copies. he then asked if i was going to eBay it. i said no, i'm setting up a LAN set up at home, i already have 3 Cubes and needed the extra copies of MK

D. he then smiled, and said he prefers to play Halo 2!
