*in my personal opinion I think Postal 2 is the best game for the price in this lot since it comes with a lot of content and a pretty fun game to screw around in for $6

Are these all downloads or are they physical copies? If they're physical copies, definitely in for Postal.

/e: nevermind, download only :(

/double e: oh my god, they have Phantasmagoria 1 and 2.
Gary Coleman is in Postal 2. Crazy fucker.
Ya' know...I tire of GC getting all the fame. Where the hell is Todd Bridges in all this, huh?

Willis!!!!

What, seriously? Gary Coleman is in it?

Dang, I guess I should order Redneck Rampage already (and Enclave, 'cause I've liked the other two Starbreeze games I've played, although I guess it's earlier and probably not as polished or whatever).

Yeah all of gog's games are downloadable only.

BUT.......

1- Gog games have NO drm in them at all.

2- You actually download the games content in full in a .exe format so you can back them up to a dvd or flash drive and install/reinstall as much as you want to because the game actually belongs to you. You can go back by logging into your account and downloading them again if need be many times as you want.

3- No activation or online connection bullshit required.

4- Alot of their games also come with manual downloadable, desktop wallpapers, guides, soundtracks and other assorted goodies.

5- They are all fixed so they work in windows xp/vista (all mine work in 7 perfectly also) and have been optimized to work in newer operating systems. Not like other places where you just get the straight original game at best rigged to run in a modified dosbox where you still have compatibility issues and crashes.

Gog is a very very good place and they have good prices and a steadily growing catalouge of obscure games.

Bought Postal 2, great game to just mess around with, and with Postal 3 around the corner maybe even this year it's nice to get ready for the next installment.

I've been thinking about Painkiller. My interest has been piqued since I found out they are now working on Bulletstorm & found out they made Painkiller as well.

Man, back in the day, Painkiller was just awesome. Heck, it's STILL pretty revolutionary that you can stake enemies to walls. What made the game great was the genuine feeling of power that came from the weapons. In your typical FPS you just shoot a guy until he dies, and he does nothing more than perhaps get stunned by shots. In Painkiller, with the so-awesome-it's-hard-to-switch-to-another-weapon stake gun, you shoot them in the leg and they go flying backwards leg-first, then get up and try again until you peg them with a kill shot.

*sigh* Great stuff.

On the other hand, I found Postal 2 to be just plain stupid.

the only thing I"ve ran into with an issue in Postal 2 is that the game doesn't support my monitors res 1680x1050 but only 1680x1200 and the only other reasonable resolution to play on with it is 1280x1024 but other than that the game plays allright and is pretty fun.
