good pc benchmark?

That's usually the most used one. Just make sure you get the right benchmark program as they're not all designed to be universal. You have 3DMark 11 that does DirectX 11, 3DMark Vantage that does DirectX 10 and 3DMark 06 that does DirectX 9. You also have PC Mark Vantage that more of a general benchmark and not specific towards your graphics/DirectX version.

Just use the free trials.

Futuremark has a free version of PC Mark Vantage that lets you run it once on your machine.If you want to test your CPU, use Cinebench 10.Other benchmarking tools that are worth trying are Fritz Chess Benchmark, ScienceMark 2.0, Prime95 and SuperPi. Have fun with testing your PC :)
