looking into buying a ps3...anyone know the cheapest place possible to get one right now? i dont know much about what is what when it comes to ps3 but i know i for sure want one that has backwards compatibility.

You will have to get one used if you want a ps3 with backwards compatibility... if not the best buy package with MGS 4 and K2 is great or you can wait it out for a price drop( if one happens soon)

The 60gig is the best way to go!

States that the 40gb 80gb(now) and 160gb models only have ps1 backwards compatibility while the 20gb 60gb and 80gb(MGS 4 bundle) have full compatibility. Actually i think the MGS 4 80gb bundle has something like 85% PS2 compatible. Best bet is to find either the initial launch 60gb or a 80gb MGS 4 bundle the 20gb sucks... so look on ebay, craigslist, etc...
