these are some sweet deals.. i've got a feeling they'll be regular price at the store and they better price match or i'll have to stab a bitch...

think i'm gonna have to go out and get Soul Calibur II, NFL Street, and NBA inside drive...

Just like to give a big thanks to the OP. Picked up Soul Calibur 2 and NFL Street. Good deal even if I don't get my rebate, but it's a smoking deal if I do.

i stopped by the sears here before i knew of any deals and noticed that soul calibur 2 was pretty cheap. i think it was $9.99 at the store though but still a good deal.

I picked up Soul Calibur 2 for $9.99 at Sears B&M today after seeing this deal. They do not honor their websites prices unfortunately, but it was only a little more so I picked it up anyways. The guy was cleaning out the game section too and putting a bunch of games in a bin, but most were old games and many were higher than the current retail price.

I've been interested in Mad Maestro for a while, anyone own the game? Is it worth it? How about Intellivision lives!?

I just ordered Soul Calibur, and an extra 75 cents got knocked off, it says "coupon savings" but I didn't enter anything in....weird, but I'm not complaining...came to 6.73 + tax and shipping for a total of $13.01. I will get $5.25 shipping back. Looks like there may be an extra 10% deal going on...

Yup, this deal is very much YMMV. I went to my local Sears and checked their clearance bin. Found Clonewars / Tetris Worlds with a $15.98 price tag on it, when clerk scanned it it showed up as $24.99 so he would sell it to me for marked price.

Other deals that were marked one way but showed up w/other pricing was Rallisport Challenge scanned at 24.99 but tagged at 2.98, Grabbed by the Ghoulies scanned 9.98, tagged 2.98 and PS2 Jampak 7 tagged fro 2.98, also saw PS2 Jampak 11 scanned for 3.49.

The first 3 games I listed are for XBox and the others as labelled PS2.

So there are deals out there for the lookin.

Thanks OP

My local Sears has a bunch of older games dumped in a clearance bin (Halo, Crimson skies, some playstation stuff) but the tagged prices are $39.99 and up! Don't know if they would scan for less cause customer service in this one doesn't exist(unless peddling a service contract on tools counts)

Good luck... I bet they will be sold out online and you will not be able to price match anymore. :)

I went there today and got,

Konami's Lifeline for $9.99 PS2
the First karaoke Revolution for $12.49 PS2
Amped 2 for $9.99 XBOX
Sonic Hero's for $15.49 XBOX
Wild Arms 3 for $7.50

they didnt have any of the games anyways :( ..

Managed to find Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 (XBox) for $5 at my Sears store. Also got Burnout 2 (XBox) for $9.98!

:)

Thanks for the post OP.

Got :
ROTK (Xbox) $9.98
SSX3 (Xbox) $9.98

Saw:
Blinx (Xbox) $9.98
Rallisport Challenge (Xbox)
.Hack Infection (PS2) ~$8

I got mine at a B&M. They were in the aisle with a sign saying 50% off. They were tagged correctly. However, I saw NFL Street at retail price without a tag.
Are these games all tagged this way? Or in a bin? If they are tagged, are they behind the glass?
the one's that I saw were in a separate bin. There were some games behind the glass that had tags on them but the prices were not greatly reduced (if at all).

I stopped at a 2nd Sears B&M and they had a bin full of games with a sign stating all games with pink price tags were 50% off tagged price. But the prices were not very good. I think XBox SSX3 was tagged at 39.99 so nets out to 20 bux for this - However, I did not have any of the games scanned to check the prices. Most of the stuff in the bin were platinum hits listing at 19.99 including Rallisport Challenge so net prices for them were 10 bux.

My Sears had a separate bin full of games but no sign and no marked reduction on the games. LOTR still ad a $49.99 tag on it. Had him price check the following XBOX games:

LOTR:ROTK $9.99
Tiger Woods 2003 $7.49
Tiger Woods 2004 Around $23 (can't remember)
MX Unleashed $17.49
Namco Museum $9.99
Nascar Thunder 2004 Around $17

Grabbed LOTR, TW2003, and Namco but am probably going to return the latter two.
The Sears on Concord Pike didn't have anything good. They did have the Xbox Music Maker for $12.50. Half off.
Is the XBox Music Maker the thing that comes bundled with a microphone? Cuz I saw that at my Sears going for $7.98 (I think).

Yep, that's it.

What kind of deals do you think will come from Kmart buying Sears? The combo will be the third largest retailer behind Devilmart and Target. I am betting they will be doing some crazy deals to win new customers

As I understand it Sears is taking over some K-Mart stores, and not the other way around. They also are "leasing" a few Wal-Mart stores in an attempt to diversify and not only be confined to malls. Anyway, just thought I'd clear that up. . .

What does that mean for a guy looking for a good deal? Hmm, maybe some of those $5 K-Mart game deals will be more and more common in the future. . .

Found Panzer Dragoon Orta for 4.98. Bought one copy. One copy was left. This is at the Tri County store in the Cincinnati area. Several other games marked with a pink tag were an additional 50% off including. Panzer Dragoon did not have a tag but was in the clearance area. I waited ten minutes for an employee to even approach the electronics area.

(all prices prior to 50% discount)

NBA Live 2004 (PS2) - 29.97
SSX 3(XBox) - 19.97
WWE RAW 2 - 14.97
Grabbed by the Ghoulies(XBOX) - 9.97
Dark Cloud 2 - 29.97
Arc the Lad(PS2) - 14.97
Wild Arms 3 (PS2) - 14.97
Tak & the Power of Juju (PS2) - I believe was 24.97 or 29.97

There were a few others that I don't recall offhand.
