starting feb 15 it goes to 14.99 per month

3 MVP movies out at a time NO LATE FEES

OR

2 New release movies for 1.99 each (Instead of 4.36 each)

im sorry but it was barely worth 9.99 per month with BBO doing 3 movies out at a time expect hollywood video members to leave fast.

say you rent 6 new release movies a month from BBO (say it takes 2 weeks to get movies) then rent those same from hollywood

BBO 14.95 for 6 movies + 2 instore coupons
Hollywood 12.00 for the 6 movies + 15 for the card = 27.00

that is freaking nuts

I think it's still worth it for $15. Especially since they are going with no late fees.

That's what killed me every single time, because I always forgot to take the movies back on time. If I ever got rid of my MVP account, it would have been because of the late fees.

I tried the BBO, but I got tired of waiting for my movies. When I want to watch a movie, I want to see it then, not two to three days from then.

Also, I have no problem with waiting the two weeks for movies to go the the MVP list.

I look at it this way, I spend $15 and get all the movies I want.

Oh yeah, I'll also stick with HV because it's about a mile from my house when the closest BB is more than 10 miles away.

WOW your hollywood vidoe moved new releases to MVP in 2 weeks? Our locally only does it between 6-8 week after a movie comes out (of if the movie isnt renting around 4 weeks but never 2 weeks. I never had a problem with LATE FEES cause When the movies were do back i would just rent another 3 and I was usually up that way ever 5 days or so.

Its not bad for a month but ONce you rental all the MVP movies that month and got to wait 6 weeks for the newer ones to come down i think i pass .. I can still get Cheaper New release Locally

Yeah, there are alot of the newer movies that get moved to my HV's MVP list. I just recently rented Open Water, King Arthur and some other newer movie last week.

the math isn't quite right there man. the 14.99 is per year, right? well thats like 1.25 or so a month onto 12. still you save over a dollar compared to BBO.

No, it's $15 a month.

If you're going to do an in-store program, why not the Blockbuster movie pass? With that you get 2 out at a time, but they can be any movies, new releases included. No late fees, of course. Only $14.99 for the first month, $24.99 each month after that. I wouldn't be suprised to see the price drop soon though... Cancel any time during the first month if you don't way to pay the $25.

they might start doing that Cause the WORD Is very soon you will be able to return your BBO movies at the B&M stores to make shipping time even faster.

am i the only one who makes you think about the monoploy game when you see BBO as in the railroads :D

Dunno, man. With HV, you pay $10 less and get an extra movie. True, you may have to wait a couple weeks to get the new, new movies, I think it's worth it to stick with HV.
