Goomba's Freebie of the Week #3 - Multiple Prizes

I'm picking:
05) Tony Hawk's American Sk8land (Nintendo DS)

Reason:
I am one of the biggest fans of Tony Hawk skate games and this is the only one that I do not have. I've been a fan of these games since Tony Hawk 1 for the N64.

I am one of those that think FFIV is one of the best, if not the best, I cared soooo much for those characters!

I would also like Final Fantasy IV cuz all my copies are on loan (and I might never get them back :( ) or tony hawk american sk8land if you are picking multiple winners and FFIV is already gone
 
Knuckles plushie, just because knuckles is an awesome character in general and he needs to show the mario plushie who's best.
 
I'd be in for Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. I don't know if I've ever so much as seen a copy that wasn't for the PS2, and I haven't played any of the games because of that.
 
Sonic Plushie--I think I'm going to use Sonic in Smash Bros. Brawl, and I'd probably wind up leaving him by the TV as like a mascot, haha...
 
Megaman Battle Network 4 Blue Moon

Reason why I choose this game is because the last game that Ive played was BattleNetwork 3, and I wantto know what happens next. I have played the 1 2 and 3, and all were ok, cool graphics too and gotta love that cuztomize feature. and plus its a 3d game which makes it even better!
 
I'd say at this point it's a three way toss-up between the Sonic / Knuckles Plushies (especially the Knuckles one), Final Fantasy IV and Puzzle Quest. One more day and we'll find out who the winner is and what they chose as their prize =) Woo hoo!
 
There are a LOT more entries for this week's contest than last week :) I'm going to be cutting out people's names until the cows come home hehe.

I'm going to run these contests for as long as people are entering into them :) I am doing it for a number of reasons....

1) I get to know people better on both CAG and Goozex and I've made a number of friends/trade partners as a result.

2) I believe that it truly is better to give than receive, and it feels good handing out freebies because I know people really appreciate free stuff :)

3) I've had several people join Goozex through me as a result of these contests which isn't something I require of course, but it's a great bonus. I get 5 free trade credits whenever people join through my referral link which in turn gives me more credits to buy free games to give away...it's a great circle ^_^

It's cool that Goomba's doin this (come on we get free stuff, he meets some nice gamers...i'd say this is a pretty creative transaction) Nonetheless, I'll applaud the winner before he/she is announced (cuz I know I can't stay up until midnight to find out ) But ultimately I applaud Goomba for making this awesome contest! I really can't wait for more and to all of us that lose there're more opportunities thanks to Goomba.

Good news (in theory)...I got sent home early from the casino today after only working an hour. While this sounds bad (and it is cuz it's about a $160 loss for me paycheck wise), the good news is that at the stroke of midnight I'll be able to start compiling all the entrants for this contest :) With well over 150 entries this is by far the most popular contest to date. I guess having 10 items to choose from doesn't hurt ^_^

05) Tony Hawk's American Sk8land (Nintendo DS)

My DS is the only thing I have with me at college, a new game would be nice. I haven't heard much about this title, but I loved all of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater games.

I just watched a clip of the game, looks like a good pick-up game.

I have the DS and Xbox 360 version but lack the PSP version to complete my collection. I love this game!

Some stats for this contest:

There were 191 total entries
154 were from CAG and 37 were from Goozex. A big change in last week where we had only about 9 from Goozex.

I swear there was no conspiricy with the winner, though it is rather interesting ^_^ You'll have to see the video to find out why though.

I apologize for teasing you guys that requested FFIV (There were a LOT of you) but that's the way I'm going do it ... so that way if you were the only person that requested say the headphones then you know almost instantly you won ;) Makes it more fun that way. I'm going to delay listing the new contest till tomorrow since I have a lot of eBay/CAG/Goozex trades to mail out now. Good luck and thanks for playing guys.

No need to apologize. I thought that was fine the way you did it.
 
I don't know why, but I love the prize pig.

Just a suggestion: You shouldn't put the name of the game being won at the beginning of the video. That immediately alerts everyone who didn't ask for that game that they lost. (I only kept watching because I like the prize pig). I think it would be much more suspenseful if you didn't narrow it down right at the beginning. That's just my two cents.

Great contest though. I'll keep entering!
