Goozex Dispute

I sent out a bunch of Goozex trades last week and all seemed well until I got negative feedback for one of the games. The other party said the disk was broken in half. Of course I would never knowingly mail out a defective non-the-less broken game. I don't want to call the guy a liar but the disk was in perfect working order went I mailed it out, and I find it odd that only the disk would be broken while in transit.

I'm disputing the feedback asking for a photo. I've long since had an untarnished record on all my accounts from eBay, Goozex and even CAG. So this negative has me a bit anxious.

Anyone else have to deal with something like this? What's common policy went it comes to this type of situation? Am I screwed if the disk is actually broken? The game was only 150 points so I'd rather take the point hit rather than have some nasty feedback.

If the buyer still claims the game is defective, Goozex will require the buyer to ship the game to them, at the buyer's cost. Since it's not worth much, there's a good chance the buyer will back down.

If you're telling the truth, it seems like the buyer had a problem with their game, and just wanted a free replacement.

Yeah, Goozex is pretty good on these things.

Most of the time, from what I've read in the forum, in those kind of cases were the game may have broke in shipping etc. they'll give you positive feedback and the points for the trade and refund the buyer their points.

Goozex is pretty good about trying to keep both traders and requesters happy from my experience. Thankfully I've not had any issues yet personally.

You will eventually get negative feedback from some douche no matter how well you handle transactions. I would worry about the direct implications of this rather than your spotless record.

I'm sure the buyer snapped the disc themselves when pulling it out of the case.
