Hey all. I got another deal today. Went to hollywood video and they had used games buy 2 get 1 free. I got Tales of Destiny 2, Chrono Cross and Legend of Mana all for 20 bucks! Then i went by the pawn shop and they had some cheap ass games too. Zelda CE for only 10 bucks, Metal Slug 3 xbox 10 bucks and they had a Drakengard sealed for like 15 i think. Didnt get those but im thinkin about it. Let me know how i did.
 
Pretty good. Which Zelda CE was it? One with the red background with Ocarina/MM or one with the silver background and all of 'em? The red one has almost no resell, the silver one would be a good deal. I know Hollywood/GameCrazy currently gives 13 for the red one, though.

It was the Zelda CE that has 4 classic games on in not the preorder one for WW. I might pick it up just in case although i have one pending in ATM.

That's because it's hard to find. Hard do find does not equal good. I'm just trying to save you a lot of pain later.

sorry reality but i owned Legend of Mana and Chrono Cross before and loved them both. Sure its not a Xenogears but playing with a friend is pretty fun IMO
 
Hey, it's cool man, I'm glad you didn't feel ripped, but Chrono Cross made me trade in my original PSX and some games for my gamecube at EB. I got to the End and was so disgusted I unplugged my systyem and traded it in that day. Dead serious.
 
dont know what gamecrazy is but i got mine at hollywood video. No the games werent complete but i woulda paid 20 for TOD2 non complete itself!

Thats the nicest thing anyone has said so far^^. Dont worry though only one in great shape is TOD2 cuz the other 2 have rental stickers on them(yuck) but still like i said i woulda paid 20 bucks just for TOD2 so i can just use those as play copies until i sell or trade them away and get complete copies.

there are 2 legend of mana's for ps1 complete at my work. there was also a complete ogre battle there.

i can hold a copy until i get paid friday unless you have a way of getting cash to me before that. i am broke right now, so i would have to wait until then to get it.

I thought that CC's music and combat system made it great right off the back. Story was a little weak, but it was really fun and the graphics are great (even though I ain't no graphics whore). One of the few RPGs where I wanted to fight because it was fun...

Tha'ts what I'm talking about and I like how messed up the plot got until at the end where it just kind of died, but yes the graphics and the combat were so cool I wish SE would get its collective asses together and make the sequel.

Okay sounds great, I understand about the paypal thing but since everyone wants it I finally broke down and got confirmed. oh are you looking for any games at the moment?
 
not really too much, i just bought like $80 worth of games this past paycheck. i work tomorrow at 5 to 10 pm, so i might go up there a little early to put it on hold.

i didn't even buy them from my work. i bought all of them on the ebgames.com deal and a pre-order on halo 2 from outpost.com for 39.99 (free shipping too).

i'm a cheapass, i am not going to pay more than i have to for a videogame when the cost of a used game was what i payed for a new/sealed copy. i don't care what GS thinks about me for that.

I'm just amazed your employee discount is so small, I thought you'd get a bit more off but oh well as long as you get cash.
 
i get more at barnes and nobles (which owns GS, Software Etc., Funcoland, and Babbages). i get 20% there and 15% at GS.

like i read books. i spend way too much on my games for that, but it will come in handy for once i buy books for my g/f. i will let you know by pm later and it is no problem.
 
One would think that someone calling themselves biggestinuyashafan would be buying volumes of the Manga left and right.
Heck, I'm only a small time fan of some anime franchises, and even I've managed to amass a couple volumes of manga..and that stuff is not cheap... I know I'd be buying a bunch more if I had a discount. (Of course, I guess if you look at it, manga is cheaper than single issues of comics.
