I tried a demo at the store. The control scheme isn't too bad because you only have to shake the controls to get yourself up to full speed, and then you can coast at top speed until to hit something.

Based on the Gamespot review, playing this game is only slightly better then getting herpes. Nintendo ripped off Mario Kart to make a bongo controller game, but then ported it to the Wii without bongo controls... makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Is this a $50 game? If so, Nintendo has some balls.

True. I just wish they opted to keep the bongo controls in. They may have provided some resemblance of a point to play the game, but I doubt it. I was calling bullshit on this game when I first heard of it. Total crap from Nintendo, which is disappointing.

I too played Jungle beat and had a blast. ironically I had it for almost a year before I even opened it up. Then i did a 5 hour marathon and got pretty far. Then it was sold on ebay (buy it now) and I had no time to finish it.

It will probably always be overlooked by most people, only to later be recognized.
