If you are reading this email, you have been selected to participate in the Technical Beta Program (TBP) for Gotham City Impostors!

A 6 vs. 6 first person shooter, Gotham City Impostors is a multiplayer game unlike any other, giving players the opportunity to rebel against conformity as they customize their own characters. Posing as amateur vigilantes or villains, gamers will create their very own Bats and The Jokerz characters using unprecedented customization options including insane costumes, homebrewed gadgets and a wide range of traditional and imagined weapons.

We wanted to let you know ahead of time that you're invited to take part in this round of testing. We will be announcing the official start of beta soon. As we get closer to the actual start of the TBP, we will be sending out another email with all of the information you will need to download the game and get started.

In the meantime, please sign up for the official forums at http://www.gothamcityimpostors.com. Please make sure to use the email address that you used to sign up for the beta, as that will be your only way of gaining access to the beta forums. Once the Technical Beta Program begins, there will be important instructions that you will only be able to see if you are signed up and logged in to the site. This will be the only place you will be able to give us feedback.

So keep an eye on your email in the coming weeks for the official instructions and information from us regarding the Technical Beta Program, and once again congratulations on being selected to participate in this round of testing for Gotham City Impostors!

I'm in too. What system are you guys getting it for? I don't remember if I had to choose when I signed up or not... Or will we choose later?
 
I signed up for the PS3 beta last month, but haven't gotten an e-mail
Did you guys get in on the PC beta, or one of the consoles?

I just got an e-mail with a code redeemable on steam! Check your e-mail, You can download it but you won't be able to play until October 5th at 7PM est.
 
Got the same email. Starts Wednesday, October 5, 2011, and ending on Sunday, October 9, 2011. Servers will be open from 7:00 PM - 12:00 AM EST.
 
I signed up for the 360 beta a while back and got a steam code for the PC version, I suppose I will still give it a try but that's kind of odd.
 
I really enjoyed it, If it wasn't for the lag and the stats resetting every time you close the game I would have played the whole span of the beta.
 
I only played it a couple times and there was either not enough people in a single game to make it enjoyable or there was incredibly annoying lag. But yeah like what everyone else was saying, its nothing new.
 
Is the beta over for good now or will they resume later on? I need some space on my hard drive and was wondering if I can safely delete it..
 
It was fairly laggy and took forever to start matches,
Honestly it played alot like team fortress 2... except not so much with a team aspect.
It was like capture the flag on teams, but there weren't ways to help eachother ie. tank+medic

@teddybass the game is no longer listed on my steam, but i dont know if the files stayed on my computer.
