Gps

Any of you all have a gps for the car? I am thinking about getting one before I drive home for xmas. I flew home for thanksgiving and the car we rented had one in it. pretty sweet. i hear the tomtoms with the teleatlas maps are the best. has anyone been using one of these? good for long trips?

My uncle has not a GPS integrated, but an external one. It's pretty sweet, and a whole lot cheaper, so I'd consider getting that than the pricey built-ins.

Do you know what kind he has? Is it a TomTom? I have heard the maps are the best on these devices, however, I am not sure if they are 3D. Do you?

Thanks for posting the article. I like the idea of the customized voices. That would definitely be pretty entertaining. I hope the TomTom w/ the teleatlas maps I am looking at has a cool voice. I need to go check one out.
