Yes, I know there is already a general CAG clan thread for 360 games, but I figure that this clan will get so big that it will need it's own thread.

I'll be getting the game the first day it's out, so I'll make the clan. Since I'll be the squad leader, I'll also need to appoint some captains and other high ranks for our squad (preferably some of the more well known CAGs) and we will accept any CAG who wants to join the clan. If it gets big enough, then we can start up an Alpha and Bravo team for CAG so that more people can play in clan matches. Also, with the higher ranked members of the clan, I'm going to ask maybe 1 or 2 others to be co-leader of the clan, as I will not ALWAYS be on the game 24/7, so I will need some help running things; plus, with more than 1 leader I think it will be a little more fair and effective in general.

Even though all will be accepted, to play in clan matches and stuff you will need to show some skill, teamwork, and knowledge of the game. This doesn't necessarily mean that if you don't get X amount of kills per game then you're not in, simply that me and the other guys need to see that you'll be a valuable 4th, 6th, or 8th man to the team (We can't let CAG become the laughing stock of the GR:AW clans, right?)

If you have any interest whatsoever, post here and say you're in (don't ask for positions or anything yet, let's just see how large a group we can have for this) or PM me here or leave a message for me on 360 Live - gamertag xThaXecutionerx.

***All officers should be getting PMs shortly regarding the structure of the clan and I will try to get out PMs to the squad members of the clan before the game hits the shelves regarding what will go on for about the first week or so.***

I'll definitely play.

Are their clan matches, modes and support for GR:AW?

I'm not too bad at GR2, Summit Strike and the Rainbow games. Rarely the best but always amongst the final 3-5 in a game of 16. On R63 I just about always finished maps. I prefer to be the player with a good combo weapon that could do well in close and at distance like a G3A3, Steyr Aug, M-16etc.

I'm interested, but know from experience that people either won't play or those that do will get insane about it. I'm also considering redeveloping my Summit Strike clan, but I'll keep up with this thread and see how things go.

Im down if i decide to pick it up (ill let you know), i dunno how good ill be at ghost recon though, if i can pick it up as easily as halo after a little practice, than i should be pretty good at it.
I'll join and teamkill everyone
"I'm a spy!!! Mwaahahahahha!"

Seriously, I maybe down for it, add me to your friends list and keep me posted. THX

Are clans supported? I thought I read about it on gamespot forums not supporting clans initially at launch and reading some complaints.

The back of the box says there is clan support for this game. If, for some reason, it takes weeks for clan support to work for the game then...oh well, we'll already have our setup for the clan and will be ready to go when they patch it.

I've seen Xecutioner playing GR:SS lately I may try and join him.

I remember playing SS with a lot of CAGs from the start but then they stopped playing. I don't get too hard core with clans but I would like to play with the CAG crew.
Anyone that's interested wanna practice up on Summit Strike? If so I'll be on throughout the weekend.
Yeah, I have been on Summit Strike a lot and I'll take you up on that offer Matt if I'm around this weekend. I wouldn't mind doin some Co-Op missions and stuff, but Squad games would be great too.
This has the potential to be as big as the halo 2 clan too
That would be cool if it got that big. Hmm, maybe this thread should be stickied since it's already turning out a good response.

That is pretty funny wombat. I will be getting the game on day one also and killing with my fellow cag's sounds like a blast.

Just some heads up videos as to what kind of maps we'll be wasting people on once our clan is together:

Thanks to TeamXbox for the videos.

Let me remind everyone that the clan is open to any/all CAGs, so if you post here then you don't have to ask to be in..you already are! Oh, and no outsiders!
Thanks for the vids bro. This game is gonna be hot. Especially the 4 player campaign.
if by 4 you mean 16, then yes, yes it is.

anyhow, i'm in. i ran the halo 2 CAG clan with arguably good results (i had fun anyways) for almost a year, so i have some experience clanning it up. i'd rather just play than do any managerial shit this time around, but if you need any assistance or advice i'm definitely willing to help out. gamertag = rocksolidaudio. word.

i'm not wrong. 16 players my friends, versus the computer. i have heard this from Che who is reviewing the game for EGM (it gets game of the month), so i think it's a pretty solid source. he described an awesome scenario where you set the enemy on unlimited spawns and you have to defend an area for a set amount of time. they pour at you over and over and you just mow them down with automatic weapons - like a survivial horror game, only not.

That seems to be a different game type though. I meant like the missions and Im sure they only said 4 but you have a more realiable source then me :)

well, as i understand it there is the campaign, then there are separate co-op missions, like chaos theory, and then there is the multiplayer. i may be wrong, but i KNOW that you can play 16 people versus the computer.

Ok cool as long as there is some sort of Campaign missions ill be happy.

The lack of mission co-op is my biggest concern about this game. All of the games like defend and such are back from Summit Strike, but you can't do the single player levels co-op I think. Or at least you can't do 16 player co-op. You only have those 4 missions or whatever for co-op that way.

Now Summit Strike's missions weren't all that complex so if on the 10 multiplayer maps you can set parameters for how many enemies spawn and stuff like that they'll be about even. I'm still holding on to Summit Strike though for the 16 play co-op on all the levels though.

No No. It's just like SC:CT Co-Op. There are only gonna be 4 levels with 4 player Missions. They said they are pretty big Maps and might take up to 45 mins for you to finish each one.

Yes Yes, that's what I mean. :) There are only going to be four maps which sucks when compared to Summit Strike you get 10 of whatever it is.

What'll make the difference is how involved they are and how good the modes are on the multiplayer maps. Because like I said Summit Strike's missions weren't really all that more involved than just killing the enemies so if GRAW gives you the option to at least have co-op defend, hamburger hill, or the mode where you just kill a certain amount of enemies it'll be about the same.

You sure the co-op missions are only 4 player? If so that makes it even worse compared to Summit Strike which allows 16 on all of them.

I swear early on they made it seem like you could do 4 player co-op on the single player missions and then more on the co-op specific levels, now it seems like the 4 are going to be about it, damn.

I'll be happy with any type of Co-Op. Besides being really fun (on any Ghost Recon) they are also an excellent source of practice/training for the clan. I'm sure they'll make up for the lack of maps/players somehow concerning Co-Op, Clancy games usually deliver as well or better than most other games.

I might pick it up, depending on the reviews. I'll rent it the first week no matter what, though, and I would like to be in the clan. I'm pretty good at 1st person and 3rd person shooters and have a few of the previous Ghost Recons. I'm going to play some Summit Strike in the next few days when I have time.

Have the game paid in full at GR so will be picking it up the day it arrives there. Wouldnt mind joining up with some CAGers. Count me in if there is still space. :boxing:

Can we get a head count of all who is signing up for the CAG clan we want to make sure we don't have more than we can handle.

Well the only problem is that few actually say they are signing up for it, only that they are picking it up and may wanna play. I may have to send out a ton of PMs if anyone wants a count.

I'm definitely in for the clan. It'd be great if we actually try and play it tactically like BF2 (as a comparison) was meant to be played.

Oh yeah, that was definitely my plan from the get-go. I'm all about the sneaky, crafty, lethal striking on that game, I really dislike the gung-ho attitude.
