GR:AW 360 CAG Clan signups (now with MORE videos!)

Hey guys, just wanted you all to know that I'm going to start getting in rooms with those in the clan that I have not played with yet. I'm up for any gametype so lemme know when some of you guys are getting on this week.

I'm not sure why the list isn't updated-- but I know there are a number of people playing daily.
 
I've been playing with my friends pretty much lately who are active, I saw some people on my friends list playing co-op and would rather do Team Elimination so I skipped. Hopefully when the clan option gets implimented in the next few weeks I'll be playing with u guys, if not ill just randomly join here and there.
 
So, are we gonna have a mass meetup sometime? So far, I've only played with KwanzaaTimmy and FrankySox. Haven't seen any other CAG'ers online.
 
Seems I am on at the wrong times to play with you guys. I am mostly on in the mornings since I work overnight during the week and the game seems to have connection issues for me on the weekend.

I finally managed to get through a ranked game or two and got up to rank 3. Anyone know how many ranks there are total ?
 
I stopped trying to join after I got booted by some fuck on Saturday. If you wanted to play 4 player matches fine just tell me and I'll leave don't fuckin boot me.
 
So, when clan features are finally in, when will the clan(s) get together, or will it just be whenever people log in? I'm not really sure what will be happening after work on any given day so it'll be hard to commit to certain days.

I don't think people are booting you. It seems once a certain amount of people get into a room sometimes the server goes nuts and kicks certain people out of the room. I'm not saying thats what happened in your case. Who was in the room you kept getting kicked out of?

Yup. I was playing with X, zewone, JimmieMac and other cag's and got booted in the middle of the game.


On another note. I played my first games with CAG's tonight. Pretty cool. Capture the flag was not that great though, everyone had grenade launchers and it was getting no where.

Does the no explosives setting prohibit grenade launchers as well or just the actual grenades ? I always choose that type of game and have never ran into the grenade launcher situation.

No, I got booted because the game hadn't even started yet. The first time the game was still in progress and it dropped me so I figured it was my connection. I go back in and everyone is in the lobby and I saw Zew and X and 2 others but not sure who, I think one was Trakan. I hear one ask who that was that keeps coming in and X tells him I'm from CAG and everything then he mentions wanting to play 4 man matches or something so I'm like fine if they want me to take off I will, but I figure they would at least mention something. Next thing you know I'm out, it may have been connection issues but I really doubt it. I've had problems joining matches and lobbies but not just lose it while successfully joining a lobby twice.

Really, I didn't mind it if the didn't want me to join, but do I really want to play in a group where some feel superior enough to be selective without giving one a chance. I know many of you already know each other and already have your own groups, but don't be an ass to the new folk just trying to have some fun. If it was my mistake then I do apologize but it still felt pretty thick in there.

I think that was when Pimp, z, x, and myself were playing, and I was the host. Just to let you know, I didn't kick you. I wouldn't do that.

I don't know what happened, but you weren't booted.
 
I don't host any rooms because my connection isn't that fast, so I haven't booted anyone. There is a known bug that drops people from games. Happens to me sem-frequently.

Also note - There is no clan option symbol on the back of the box. The guy that mentioned that in this thread pulled it out of his ass. There might not be any clan options integrated at all.

I sold my game cause it seemed that everyime the clan leader was online, he was playing burnout.

It would of been nice of him to give the clan to someone who would give a shit.
 
Well most of my captains sold their games, and a lot of the people who said they would play weren't able to join our big games, wouldn't come, weren't on, or sold their games as well. I'm going to have to knock some people off my list to add some of the newest members, but there's still no guarantee that more than a handful of people will want to play. Almost every CAG I see is playing Oblivion, so it'd be hard pulling people over to GR:AW. Oh, one more thing, if you do have me on your list and you see me playing another game...all you have to do is send a message and say "let's play" or something like that, believe it or not I will jump over and play.
 
I've still got the game if anyone wants to set up a game sometime soon. I love doing the co-op stuff, but I'm up for any game type.

You sold the game because one person wasn't playing it nonstop? I call bullshit. I'll bet you never even sent him a message asking to play.

Anyways, the game is fucked up. There is no clan system, which makes it impossible to know who is in the clan and play games with them. With no clan feature there's no way to play together in ranked games and level up. It's also hard as fuck to play ranked games with friends. I understand their logic while creating the system they did, but who the hell wants to play ranked games with people they don't even know/trust?

I wasnt gonna say anything about him saying "Just ask me, I'll play", cause I didnt want to start up a Halo 2 sized arguement... but actually, I did. I actually asked him multiple, multiple times... hell I asked everyone... Scorch even got pissed about it once, ask him...lol (Sorry Scorch!) I've even noticed that "Tha Xecutioner's", XBL quote was "CAG GRAW clan leader" and now its "Burnout Revenge Master" (Or something to that effect) I've been part of the clan since before the game came out and I'm still not on the OP, hell, I dont think its been edited since before the game came out.

Trakan, I dont know what you're issue is with me, but the Halo 2 days are long, long gone. Sorry I caused some shit back then, but that was forever ago. I dont even talk shit on Xbx Live, hell, I dont bring anything up. (Or even really speak for that matter) I even played GRAW with you I think...some co-op mission with Murc and Jimmie... I wasnt starting shit then, and I'm not starting shit now... So would you please just grow up and stop changing my posts, deleting them or getting down right pissy with me? I dont even remember having any shit between us back then.

If you've got something to say, PM me... we'll work it out.
 
I haven't updated the OP because I have been messing around with clan sites all over the net trying to find something that's easy to set up and manage because of the lack of any clan features. If you want an update then here you go: no one sends me messages/invites except JimmieMac (who's not even in the clan) about GRAW, little to no people join once we send invites out in a room, no one PMs me here asking about anything, the people that complain about us not doing anything are also the people that play Burnout a lot and now Oblivion, and every CAG on my list that signs on is playing a non-GRAW game almost 100% of the time. Also, with the recent dropping of 25% of the room once you start a game, it's hard to keep everyone in the room happy and get them to stay. If you're so interested in the clan you would not sell the game, it doesn't make since. The only messages I have received in the past 30 days, at least from clan members, have been invites to rooms that I have joined and Recommendations for Burnout clips...nothing about the clan at all. I'm still interested and I need to clear some space for those who are interested. Oh, and what does my motto have to do with anything?

People are selling this game? wtf? Is the lobby that much of an annoyance that people can't get together to get into one solid lobby and go at it for hours? Bleh. This game is much better then previous ghost recons and the only thing It's lacking is maps. Oh well.

I'm sure it will be quiet this week as well with Farcry coming out.
 
The lobby's a problem? Was able to get into a pretty good-sized room w/ other CAGs on a few occasions. For all the talk, I'm really surprised lots of people are trading the game in. Then again, I haven't played it in a while myself.

If a bunch of you decide to jump in a game though, let me know. I'll join in.
 
I'm going to connected to Live in a few minutes. I will probably be playing Oblivion or Burnout but if you guys get a room going in GR:AW just send me an invite and I'll be there.

Hey I'd like to play some tonight. Not sure how many people are playing this right now due to the Oblivion craze. I know I got an invite last night signed into the room and didn't want to wait the five minutes it was going to take for the next game, I was REALLY hooked on Oblivion last night. I figured I'd see if anyone was up for a game tonight, haven't played this since I hooked up the Surround Sound so I'd like to test it out. I'll be home from work at around 11:30 cent time so hit me up if you want to play.
