just a heads up
i added the FREE playstation home my chemical romance racing suit to the op

get the mcr suit at the kiosk in the central plaza.
(while in central plaza, you may as well get a free turkey suit unrelated to gt5 by walking up to the fountain and playing a mini game in which you chase a turkey around).

I bought one from the guy. He is gonna email me the code, only paid 20 bucks and even if they come out a few months from now for PSN DLC, I think it will cost only slightly less, anyways $20 is not much to me.

I am still very suspicious. I checked the seller of the codes on E-bay. He have 5 auctionsopf exactly the same items, for total amount posted as 251 items (codes). How he have that many? And also he soffer 3 post cards along with the poster for each of them. I do not know. Did he cracked the code for the cars some how or what happens. I do understand $20- $25 is not alot, but how legit the code is ?
 
I have 2 copies pre-ordered from instore at Best Buy. Both boxes came with a code to download the Nissan GTR GT500. I will attempt to enter the code Wednesday when i pickup the game. I was hoping someone else had a code for the NSX ordered from walmart that would trade me for my second GTR code that i have. Any thoughts?

I feel like there should be some type of GT5/PS3 Console bundle, but I haven't seen such a deal ANYWHERE. I'm considering buying a PS3 simply for this game and would jump at any type of bundle deal. I see EUR/JAP are getting these- why are we left in the cold? :cry:

Decided to cancel my $55 Amazon preorder. I don't need it right now and I'm hoping for a better deal (or used) closer to Christmas.

My BB doesn't have even them, they have this touch screen panel where you pre-order games now.
 
Perhaps this is a dumb question, but when it says w/$25 game credit does that mean you have to use the gc for a video game or could you use it for an accessory like a dual shock too?

If the item description on the kiosk lists the pre-order bonus then you should be guarenteed the car. If not, it may be safer to order the standard ed. online.

It is the same standard kmart game credit that shc-gamer has been offering in their other deals. So if that was possible w/ other kmart game credit deals then the answer is yes. I personally don't know the normal restrictions for kmart game credit. If you don't either, then consult the stickied official shc-gamer kmart thread.

In my area at least, the "doorbuster" ad for Thursday 10:00 pm - Friday at 1:00 pm states you'll get a $20 gift card with the purchase of the game. At least that's what's up on TRU's website.
 
Picked up a pre-order box at Best Buy Yesterday so i could get the bonus, and will just refund it later on Since I have my Amazon Pre-order.

Here's a question for those cancelling their Best Buy preorders. Do you need to bring the preorder box back or is the receipt enough? Also, what if you no longer have the shrink wrap on the box?

BTW, I just picked up one of those boxes and the guy took away the rest of them saying that they're not supposed to allow preorders a week before release date but he only let me do it because the boxes were still out on the shelves.

That has been my experience with Amazon release date shipping. They wait until the night before and then overnight it. It still makes me nervous every time though (including now as I wait for my GT5 to ship)
 
So I went in to get a preorder box from BB today and they told me it doesnt come out until December 31st, so I just went along with them.
 
I have such a backlog maybe I'll hold onto my CE sealed until the year 3000 and then I will use the money to take over the universe. My robot overlords will be proud and release me from my organ farming cage.

oh wow, forgot i ordered this game LAST YEAR on amazon. I just got a shipping notice from amazon.

With the preorder guarantee price of $54.99 too so it ended up being $27 plus I'm getting a $10 VG credit to boot!

So $17 with Release Day Delivery LOL!

does that apply to the CE from bestbuy.com as well? I pre-ordered the Collector's Ed. from bestbuy.com shipped to home. My package hasn't shipped yet (and no email code yet).
