Hey everyone,
I've had an ATI Radeon X300 card in my PC(P4 3GHZ, 1.5GB RAM) since I bought it 5 years ago, but now I'm looking to give it some more kick. Can you guys recommend me a good upgrade for under $100?
Thanks:)

I have an 8600 gts which provides enough kick (low power consumption too) for my needs. Otherwise I'd look at nvidia 8800/9800 cards.

Well we might need a bit more information on your setup, such as motherboard model (or if you know whether your current video card is AGP or PCI-Express) , your power supply brand, model, and wattage. If your motherboard only has AGP, then choices will be slim, but if your motherboard can support PCI-Express and your power supply is at least 400W, then there are many choices for under $100.

AGP:

Sapphire HD 3850 AGP 512MB - $90

PCI-Express:

Sapphire HD 4830 512MB - $90
MSI 9800GT 512MB - $95
Asus 9600GT 512MB - $80 (suitable if you have a 300W - 400W power supply)

If I was you I'd forget about upgrading your card until you get a new computer. That computer is totally out of date and will definitely bottleneck the card's potential.
