Graphics drivers help please.

Um I got a new graphics card. And on some games which shouldnt have problems displaying(they arent new). They will screw up and my video will crash.(screen goes black or I get an error saying my drivers stopped responding)

My old card was a shitty motherboard card. I think this may have something to do with my old settings but I dont know how to fix please help!

Did you uninstall your old drivers and run driver cleaner before installing the drivers for you new card?

I took the old ones off, what is driver cleaner?
