Great Budget PCI-e Card ..... CHEAP!!

I saw a thread for a budget AGP card but I need as good of a PCI-e card as I can get for around $50. I do a little gaming, nothing like WoW, I like mostly racing stuff and Tiger Woods. I need to jump on this ASAP so any help would really be appreciated!!!:applause:

Screw those cards. If you want the best value, look at something from the previous gen. You don't get SM3 but SM3 is hardly supported... and the money's better spent on better performance.

ATI X850XT PE. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102052

I have the regular (non-PE) version which is a bit slower but otherwise the same. Here's the one I have.

I was able to OC mine to near X850XT PE specs and I'm getting averaging 30FPS on HL2 and HL2 Episode 1, CoD2, B&W2, and pretty much anything else besides Oblivion and FEAR (those two I have to play a bit under specs). I can run any game maxed out, HDR, 16x anisopric filtering, no AA, running at 1680x1050.

Those are GREAT, but they are just over double what I need to spend. That helps me for when I chunk the cheaper one tho.
Ive got a 7300 LE that I pulled out of my Dell XPS 400. Would give it up for $50 shipped. PM me if interested.
funny thing, i just pulled out a 7300le out of my dell dimension 9150.

Hmmmmm.... Sounds like a GREAT card . :) What's the cheapest either one will sell for? Shoot me an e-mail if you don't want to post price here.

7300le

they're decent cards. since you're not going to be doing any serious gaming, it should work fine. i replaced mine because althought it would run oblivion, it had to be pretty much on min specs.
Is it 128mb or 256mb?
256-512

you can get it either way -128mb onboard+ 128 system = 256mb

or 256mb on board + 256 shared system = 512mb.
