Sometimes it seems like there's a lot of posts about bad customer service. What about the opposite? Please share your tales of outstanding, amazing, wonderful, or otherwise just very good customer service. Let's show the businesses who've gone the extra mile for us some love!
I have one to start off with, though it doesn't involve a game purchase: Right Stuf has always given me decent customer service whenever I needed it, but the last time I ordered from them, one of their Customer Care reps did something awesome. The order I placed was pretty big, so what they did was bump me up to a yearlong Got Anime membership, which costs $12. This expense was covered by the membership's 10% discount on most of the items Right Stuf sells, including much of what was in the order I had just placed. In the end, the total cost of my order went down by over $5, plus now I can get 10% off future orders for a year!
Of course, I emailed the rep back with a quick thank you; it was the least I could do
