Great Deal on an..assload...of criterion DVDs

Ships free with Super Saver Shipping...

Would you REALLY trust $5k of DVDs to go by the cheapest method? For that much they should hand deliver them.

That's an assload of DVDs for an assload of money...

I'm tempted to buy it just because I'd want to see the package, but my CC has a $50 limit...

[Edit] it's assload not crapload....

that's an insane amount of dvds. Can you imagine how long it would take to watch all those and the extras?

I just hope that this means there is a glut of these dvds and they will soon discount the price on them.

How is that a good deal? Who would spend that much? NOBODY will like all of those movies, and you could just buy them seperately for, what, 20 dollars each?

Actually there's like maybe 5 criterion collection DVDs that retail at $20 or under. However, without some of the kickass OOP ones I'd never consider this.

I fit had Silence of the Lambs and the John Woo films in it, I'd buy it without a moment's hesitation...

Yeah, typically Criterion DVDs retail for $30 to $40 each (a bit less on DDD). This is a good deal if for some insane reason you want them all. Or, you could have just got them all from DeepdiscountDvd for less than $20 a pop during their 20% sale.

Yeah, I stupidly passed on the John Woo films I wanted a while ago and of course now they are all out of print. #-o
