So, I spot Ikaruga at Gamestop. (By the way, probably been posted elsewhere, but they are having a trade 3 titles, get $10 extra in store credit).
Anyway, I pick up $19.99 Ikaruga(USED, but hey even if it's scratched, I just want to play it, not for resale value). I get to the counter, wait 10 mins. for game nerds to finally ring up my store credit, and get ready to pay for Ikaruga. He looks around. Goes to the back. Says they "can't find the disc". Now - what do you think happened? Did one of the employees realize that this game was rare, and pocket it for themselves? I'll never know, but I suspect that to be the case. And, this isn't the first time this happens. Funny, it never happens with the lousy games - only the games that are rare/expensive/that I want to play. I ended up picking up a $20 PS2 game that I'm only mildly excited about.
