So i sent them an email and they told me to contact the devs who sent me a third party torrent link to basically download a pirated copy of the game.. And desura said "we are now closing this case because the case has been resolved"

Wooo!  Almost Gilby'd this one, but I just got in on the GL 7 before it ended. Was going to donate some to charity, but then I saw what the charity was and quickly unclicked.  I hate liars and scammers.

Yeah, that's deplorable.  I feel like it would have been relatively easy for them to raise money without trying to ruin the lives of complete strangers, but maybe there would have been stipulations like don't use this on your prescription medication addiction.  Or at the casino. Stupid rules always getting in the way.

I assume you know this already, but if you're really worried about future buys you can always just leave a window/tab (or leave like five just in case) open before a Groupee bundle ends and you can still buy a bundle well after it's over. I've done it many times.

After looking at the Green Light bundle for 4 days, I decided there wasn't anything I really wanted.  I could have saved myself a headache figuring that out a long time ago.

I might have done just this. ._. If anybody has an extra set, for whatever reason, I'll gladly take it off your hands if you're looking to get rid of it. I was mostly in for the bonuses, Attractio, inSynch, Deity Quest, and Tallowmere. Oops. If not, I should hopefully be able to find some keys in the trading thread once they get put on Steam.

Groupees is usually pretty good at leaving repeats out of their greenlight bundles.. but not this time. I count 3 (Radium, Leave Home, qrth-phyl).

The IR debut bundles are pretty cheap (as long as you buy them at minimum price), so they count to me. However I don't own Leave Home. Radium is a very recent repeat, it's in the current running IR..

Hahaha... I beta'd Fasaria World.  It was the shittiest MMORPG I've ever played and I've played Rubies of Eventide.  Hey, I was able to find my old screen shot of it!  This was in 2009 mind you, well after World of Warcraft and even after Lord of the Rings Online and Vanguard.

Yeah, I think Radium's the only one of those 4 I have. Anyways, a bit weaker than the last one, but I'm probably in for 2.

Why would you want to buy IR Debut's at $2.50 or more when you can buy Groupees for $2 and IG Greenlights for $1?

It doesn't work on some stuff though. I couldn't get it to work on Dungeon of Elements. And if you buy something not on Steam yet there's no guarantee they won't fix it later.

It doesn't work if you already have a Desura key for the game registered to the account because you can't generate an in-client key if that's the case.

Now Bobbytastic you know I've been doing this stuff longer than you.

It normally does work with IR games but for some reason it didn't with DoE.
 
Hopefully they will do a 2 game minimum towards the end because like the rest of you all I really want would be "The Sun at Night" and possibly Kel. I don't really like SHUMPS and this ones full of them...

 
Getting 5 of these including 2 of the shmups. That one with the radical effects and stuff hurt my eyes watching the video so i'll skip it.

*Edited to add: QRTH-PHYL also appears to be yanked from being for sale on Desura, though you can still download it if you already own it, and it's not even a demo! :p I assume registering a Groupees key lets you do the same. On the store page it's listed as "invite only" which makes me wonder why the dev felt the need to yank it.

*Edit 2: Not that I care because I already own it there, but does Radium in this bundle not come with a Desura key? Groupees doesn't list it as having one on their page.
