Snowflake coin value is going up pretty fast. Was under $5 before the bundle went live, and now it's $5.36. Jonny coin is going up in value too, although slower. Lot of people are using coins on BMA3

Even if you Gilby'd the bundle, you can use a snowflake coin on it. Those are really only worth half value (or less) in real money anyway, unless you're buying VN bundles.

The prices for Groupees shit is usually overpriced anyway, cuz Tremor doesn't preorder Groupees bundles. Might be worth it if you want 1 game from the bundle though

I hope that everyone’s new year is off to a great start. Ours is certainly quite busy!

I first wanted to address a concern that many users have brought to our attention. Behavior in chat seems to have taken a turn for the worse with certain users seemingly only wanting to disrupt and disturb others, either out of spite or perhaps some perverted need for attention. While we are big believers in free speech, we also recognize that what makes Groupees a unique place to visit is our social layer, particularly group chat. With this in mind, we will not sit idly and let a few bad apples ruin Groupees for everyone else.

Moving forward, we will be more proactive in banning users who bully, taunt or otherwise post offensive remarks. We are also building greater admin and user-controlled tools to discourage this type of behavior. Bottom line, you’re not free to be a jerk, so if that’s your MO, Groupees is not the place for you.

On the dev front, we are slowly rolling out a new site-wide UX. Currently, you can view the new Profile with new Chat and new Trade pages, released in Beta and accessible from the drop down menu beneath your name, right side of the header. The new home page should be released in the next few weeks along with the new bundle page design. We hope that you like the our new look and feel (and expanded features). As always, please let us know how we’re doing and what you would like to see next!

Finally, we will be doing our Bundle in a Box migration in the next few weeks as well so that users who had an account with the original Bundle in a Box will be able to access all their content within their Groupees accounts.

Five dollars each. The comic is relatively popular - their Kickstarter to print Volume 4 raised 82,000 (out of a $17,000 goal!) So yeah, they appear to be kind of a big deal. I expect fans or curious people to buy this bundle, especially since their official Twitter account just mentioned it.

Oh, cyanic came in and said there won't be a preorder for the miller bundle and it's priced higher than normal, probably around $4.

 
So Miller is like their big showcase bundle now.

Edit: inb4 The developers wouldn't let us sell for less than $4!

Apparently one publisher dumped in about 20 dollars retail value in comics, and another 10 dollars value (alterna is also providing a decent value in Fubar Declassified and Metaphase.To balance it out, the other publishers only provided issue 1s or so. (I've been noticing that even before this Alterna curated bundle, that publisher has been very willing to contribute (mother russia in the Groupees Girls Girls Girls bundle, The Chair and Fubar stuff in the first Holiday Helpings bundle, and Myth and Deadbeat from the first Indie Comic bundle)

I've been banned on groupees chat for being a dick. Can anyone ask Johnny if we have to report our groupees coins on our tax returns? And also, are they taxable income?
 
gilby and foxhack, since you seem to be the resident comic/music buyers, how likely do you think that seeing how Alterna Comics and Dynamite has been reaping in from Groupees comic bundles and other stuff that Markosia and other major indie publishers will jump back in?

I must've misread your post. Yeah, there's 1 repeat, 2 crap games, so that leaves 2-3 potentially "good" games in the bundle. Definitely not worth $4. My guess is Miller sucks at negotiating and had to set the price higher without a preorder so that the devs would put their games in the bundle

How is it the only Poopees do devs supposedly know and care about the bundle selling price whereas every other developer in the universe who has their game in a bundle is all 'I didn't know what it was going to sell for!'.

You know, when people say they would prefer a quality bundle that's higher priced (kind of what BundleStars does with their Killer bundles), what they DON'T mean is a high priced bundle curated by some random community member that no one cares about and has barely any clout with indie devs.

I thought this was fairly obvious, but cyanic pretends like we wanted a Miller 2 bundle instead.

Higher priced quality bundles = BS Killer and maybe occasionally Humble Monthly.. NOT Miller bundles!
