This.

Now and then they add bonuses onto the predetermined number of bonuses, but not always.
 
I was hoping they'd add Avencast. Somehow I never picked that up in any other bundles or Steam sales it's been in. I think I have every other Meridian 4 game I'm even somewhat interested in. And even many I don't care about at all.

Avencast was already a bonus is a previous Groupees bundle, so that probably won't happen. If it shows up in another Groupees bundle, it will be an option in a BaB, but it will not be a bonus.

Yeah, I know, unfortunately. I'm not sure why I didn't pick up at least one game in BaB3, when it was the bonus. There's at least 1-2 games I would have thought I would have purchased, but apparently I never quite made up my mind to click the purchase button.
 
I'm having a good time with Tank Universal demo... but I feel the game will be boring after a couple hours... it seems to be the same stuff over and over again...

True, I guess that says we shouldn't always take Jonny at his word... I had a long convo with him about repeats, where he clearly stated that the only internal repeats (games that have been in past Groupee bundles) would only appear as BaB options. Clearly that isn't the case.

I'm not complaining this time around though, since I skipped the Bundle of the Damned... :lol:
 
I bought all the Steam games in the Build a Bundle. Larva Mortus is the only one I've played so far, but I love it. Put an hour into it without realizing it, and already want to go back for more. Worth the $.40 by far. It's kinda what I was hoping the Binding of Isaac was gonna be. And it's sorta similar, but a little less Zelda.

Groupee has reduced the first bonus game Death Track: Resurrection to 2200 bundles, next bonus game for 1C Bundle is El Matador.

El Matador plays quite similar to the old Max Payne games.

Not totally sure, but it's not on Steam. The GamersGate version is DRM-free, so my guess is that this one would be DRM-free, as well.

I've grabbed one bundle, but would like another copy of Penguins for a second HTPC steam account. What else should I grab an extra copy of? What has interesting multiplayer?

Yeah, I thought that a one game minimum seemed unlikely for this one.

Is the penguins game really the only game that you want? If you can find another game that you'd want, maybe you could come to an arrangement with another CAG who doesn't want the penguins game and you buy something for them with your third choice. Then they buy the game with one of their three selections, and you simply swap the keys for those games.

Of course, you'd have to do this multiple times if you want a bunch of copies of the game. But without a one game minimum, it might be the best way for you to go about it.

EDIT: Actually, it occurs to me that if you could come to an agreement with two separate CAGs, you could work it so you get three copies of the game without having to buy another game for yourself. You buy one copy of the penguins game for yourself, then for your second game, you buy a game for CAG1 while they buy you the penguins game. Then repeat this with a second CAG.

Kinda a pain in the butt to have to do, but if you can find a couple of guys who still haven't bought the bundle yet and are willing to help you out, it should work.

Nooooo, I wasn't paying attention and accidentally bought Shadowgrounds with it being only a GOG key. :( Oh well, haha. Next time I'll look a little closer.
 
Yeah, no single game happy hour, but I went ahead and bought in for two separate min. bundles. Still couldn't get myself to bite on the 1C. $4 seems way to much to pay just to upgrade my MOW Vietnam and get Crossworlds.

Anybody ever buy a gift copy of a bundle? I was thinking about doing that, but I see that it asks for an email address of your friend.

The thing is, I'm thinking about buying the 1C bundle as a gift and waiting until somebody comes along and starts crying over having missed the bundle. Then I'd offer it to him/her for what I paid for it, but with the understanding that they'd give me the GOG keys for the King's Bounty games. This only works if they email a gift code or an activation link or something like that. If it either creates an account for that email address, or attaches the gift to any existing account that might be tied to that address, then I'd be screwed.

I'm pretty sure it just emails a gift code that can be used on any account. You've got nothing to worry about, buy the gift and email it to yourself.

The bridge is also one I've wanted to get. Hope it's not Cogs again, that one seems like a game that won't stop being bundled (or at least it feels that way).
 
Just a reminder, the TopWare bundle GOG keys are expiring within a week. I redeemed mine earlier and I believe it said they expire May 14th.

I'm thinking the Bridge seems the most likely since it's on sale this week on Steam and they may be trying to squeeze some sales before bundling it. I hope it's not Surgeon simulator since I don't think it's a good game, only really good for laughs with friends or making youtube videos of being awful at it.
