I put a couple hours into Freedom Fall and it's a blast. Very polished gameplay and nice, bright graphics. Of those I've played it's the best in the bundle (althogh I'm fond of Dynamite Jack as well).

Whassup with this DJ? It looks like a blend of Bomberman and Frozen Synapse.

I consider BAB6 like an IGS deal for Spectraball and Freedom Fall. Well, whenever they do their 1 game minimum promo, that is. I probably would've bought them from IGS anyway.

Looks like it'll be Spectraball, Space Ark, Aeon Command & Freedom Fall for me then. I was going to get Numen too, but I'll never play it (but it's only $0.70 more!)

And I must be the only one who actually likes music bonuses - I've discovered some some pretty good bands in Groupees bundles (case in point: http://groupees.com/community )

Oh, I gotcha.

So what you're saying is it's basically competent and accessible (to the handicapped)?
To people who can neither see nor hear it? Yes, definitely.
Excellent!

I'll pick up a copy for the sensory deprivation tank.
I'd recommend mixture of shrooms and herbs for the ultimate deconstructing consciousness experience in your sensory deprivation tank.

Altered States reference. I'd recommend the book. I never saw the movie.

Anybody have an unwanted Desura key for Renga Samurai Shogun from that bundle?

I don't want to give them $1.

The indie-bundle sites seem to cater only to small groups of groupies. How about jazz, funk, soul, indie hip hop or 60s and 70s shit?

I also prefer a different charity right now.

That community bundle looks like some interesting stuff--something for most folks, I reckon. I'm mainly grousing about the music in the BAB because 1) I have so many music bonuses for Groupees and IR bundles that I will never have time to listen to all of it; and 2) as a CAG I expect BABs to be mostly about gaming. While this one has the usual number of games in the base, it's not a very appealing selection.

They did have an indie hip-hop bundle a few weeks back (http://groupees.com/speakup) and a rap bundle too ( http://groupees.com/stillmovin ). Both were pretty good but apparently not many people bought them.

But yeah, some jazz/funk/soul and less electronica would be welcome.

I seem to be on the opposite pole of the indie hip-hop scene.

I don't care about non-producer emcees most of the time, just experimental beats and what's growing from there.

Jay Dee, Flying Lotus/Captain Murphy, Oh No, and Paul White are some of the producers I love.

It's not as fast as Bomberman or as slow as Frozen Synapse. You navigate tunnels with a primary objective of unlocking the escape route. You can blow through the whole game pretty quickly if you're just finishing the levels, but the secondary objectives (item collection, completing the level with a series of rotating criteria) take a little more patience.

It's probably not difficult enough to appeal to hardcore dungeon/puzzle fans, but I like these kind of games to be a little challenging but not frustrating, so it appealed to me. It's worth 40-cents if you didn't already get it in the Humble Bundle with Android 5.

The community bundle actually looks better than the BAB6. I'd probably pick it up if I had a tablet or e-reader, but I'm not sure about having to sit at a desk to read the books.

Not the best BaB really wanted the Freedom Fall....also got spectraball and space ark (though these last 2 may not be my type of games. Cheap and may be worth it...

Thought it was just me, but yeah, what's up with no fullscreen on the Space Zebras?
If you have an NVIDIA GPU, I posted a work around in the steam forums in the Full Screen Problem thread, I have it working in FS (1280x720) and in 3D also. :)

btw: If anyone is interested in Dynamite Jack I still have a free key, just PM me. awestover89 got it! :)

edit: Apparently it doesn't just work for NVIDIA GPUs, it worked on an AMD and an Intel. I thought it only worked on NVIDIA, since it was a utility we use to get games fullscreen in 3D Vision. :)

Jonny said bonus 5 is a steam game released in november 2012, never bundled before.
Probably Chaos on Deponia then. They were negotiating a deal with Daedalic a while ago but could never finalize the deal, looks like they finally pulled it off (if my guess is correct).

Well, I got Offroad Drive for $0.75 (It's been on my steam wishlist for over 18 months), so I can't complain too much... now if they didn't have a driving game I didn't have..

Bought Space Ark. What an addictive game (but definitely better with an Xbox controller)! I think it's well worth the 75 cents.

Apparently the next bonus is Memento Mori, an adventure game but not Chaos on Deponia ;-( Oh well...
It's an adventure game I don't have. I'd say that's a perfectly fine bonus.
Yeah, at least it's a game, and I don't own it.

"Memento Mori is a plodding adventure that makes the world of art forgeries and ancient mysteries seem dull." -- GameSpot (not that I particularly trust their reviews of adventure games)

I wouldn't trust Gamespot's review of water.

Other reviews seem to recommend it, albeit a bit tepidly. I've certainly been happy to see worse in bundles.

I'm eyeing Spectraball, Freedom fall, Off-Road Drive and maybe Numen. From those, I'm not sure about Spectraball and Numen. Any recommendations?

Numen has a demo. I'm downloading now. I've heard a lot of bad and a lot of ok reviews for Numen, so I'm going to try the demo myself.

Huh, it also says bonus 5 out of 6, when before it was out of 5. Maybe, just maybe, an actually awesome game will be the sixth bonus. Please?

Nice find. I'm gonna predict that it'll be an album full of Polka & Zydeco music. Which would be awesome.

not jumping up and down for this bundle.   Nevertheless, groupees is one of my favorites as they add bonuses to every promotion not tied to BTA.  I also stumble across new music through groupees.  They seem to allow for different charities or causes.  Finally, they have all your purchases in your profile that you can review and either see/get a key or download i.e. music.  Not too bad.

Space Ark OST.  OR Smash Cat OST :fridge:

Marble Madness was cute... thirty years ago.  And wow it really has been thirty years.

I'd still like to see a more direct successor (heck, even HD Remake). It could do well now with the rise of casual gaming... and yet it should have enough gaming appeal.

Also I miss this type of joystick. Big Image
