As for the $5 incentive level, support has said that once the "mystery" item releases, you can pay an extra $4 then and still get it. There's no need to pay it all now before you know what it is.
Also, I fired up Laxius Force last night. Extremely disappointed with it. I use the RPG Maker VX Ace program, and Laxius looks like a really bad RPG Maker game (it uses Ruby scripting, which is the biggest giveaway). It has mouse cursor support, which is nice, but besides that, the spriting is very badly done in many places, and the level design is shoddy at best (i.e. We don't want the character to go this way... so we'll put a bunch of random pots there).
The balance is also really messed up. For the first "tutorial" battle, your attacks do hundreds, if not thousands of damage to your enemies, killing them in one hit, while your enemies can only do a few damage to you. This would make sense if you were supposed to be some godly warrior, but one of your characters is a "weak" skeleton (as character dialogue explains at one point). Then I went a certain direction, found a horde of zombies (and the game told me "Save before you fight them!"), and upon attacking them, there are about 10 of them in one battle, and you immediately die. If you're not supposed to go that way, it's understandable, but the balance is still completely whack. I ran into some lamias as well, and they all died with one hit. It's clear that the developer didn't take the time to properly balance the statistics.
The art style... It looks hand drawn, which normally isn't a bad thing, but it looks like they hopped on deviantART and hired the cheapest artist they could find. It's also inconsistent. The art for your character portraits shown during battle looks pretty good, while the enemies look like daytime children's cartoons. Not a good feel on the art style.
I also immediately noticed a typo here or there. "Gear" is mentioned a few times in the tutorial, and by your characters, and there a point in the tutorial where it says "Make sure you have the best gears equipped". Not the worst typo ever, but it just adds to the shoddy feel of the game.
Anyways, for a $1 packed with the other games, I still love this bundle, but I was really disappointed by Laxius.
