hm... anyone think 99 spirits is worth $4? That's all I want from the bundle...
Same. I might buy in just for the prospect of the games getting greenlit, but that's still a hefty fee for one guaranteed Steam game.
Nah, I'd wait for another Doujin bundle. I have a feeling it'd be a repeat. From what I've heard, the game isn't that great anyway. The soundtrack may be the best part of the game..
I honestly can't comment on the quality of the game as my "playtime" consisted of idling for cards. It's worth noting however, that this game is from the same dev behind "War Of The Human Tanks". So expect 99 Spirits to appear in another bundle at some point.
I just played a bit of it, and so far I'm really liking it. The story so far is very intriguing (well, if you dislike anime style narratives and storytelling you might not enjoy it), and the artstyle reminds me a lot of Okami, which is never a bad thing. The really cool thing though is the way combat works, which requires you to guess out words from clues you obtain from battling monsters (think, wheel of fortune with smoke demons). I haven't ever played anything quite like it, and as a fan of word games I find it very interesting. Definitely going to be playing more, that's all I'll say.

Interest in game suddenly increased by 87%. Processing transfer request to head of backlog.

I can probably hold off since it's in the $4 tier because well... who am I kidding? I wouldn't play it anyway.

I don't think I've ever read warren pissed off like this, and it's scaring me a little.
I think it's just a low-sleep weekend. I actually stayed in bed until about a quarter to eight this morning which is pretty extraordinary. Could be holiday stress too.

I like it.

Can we hire warreni to get rid of this "Indie" guy?
Yeah, I wish I could work as an assassin. I need a secondary income stream.

Warreni, I agree that the title is silly and it is pretentious and ludicrous for this individual to call himself Indie. Watch the trailer for a good laugh or better yet try to stay on groupees page or your "my profile" page after buying the bundle when the twitch tv feed is going with him talking. I think that he really means well, but could come across as weird.

May I suggest actually looking at and taking a listen to the Magfest bundle that groupees has going on. Some decent music can be had if you like.
Thanks for the tip. The Magfest stuff doesn't really sound like me. I'm mulling over gamemusicfestival prospects currently. I bought the ES themes pack yesterday and I'm still thinking about the Erutan and Gunpoint collections. After giving it some more thought and listens, I'm not convinced I'm sold on the GMB 6 for either tier.

I also haven't figured out if I want in on the Capsule 2 bundle. Xotic's a repeat, I heard bad things in these forums about Power of Defense so that pretty much just leaves Uprising44 and Spaceforce. Anybody happen to have played these? Most of this stuff looks like phone games. Groupees are usually pretty solid but the last few they've churned out I've been less-than-impressed with. Somebody wake me up if they decide to throw in Cognition Episodes 3 and 4 as bonuses for that weird Indie thing.

Groupees Capsule Computer Bundle 2 is 1 game minimum now and looks like Groupees is doing something like IGS here. Arcane World is currently on greenlight and that sale starts in 12 hours from now.

Want 99 Spirits...rest I think I got from Gamestand and other bundles. Frayed Knights is very fun imho I like the story enough that it makes the dungeon crawling fun. Graphics are basic but all in all I had some fun with it....guess i'm about 1/2 way through...not a very short game.

Everyone should at least buy 2 bundles right now, either for the Steam games or for Uprising 44 (which is on Greenlight), and at least get the keys for Dead Hungry Diner. 2 bonus copies of that game for $1.50, and you can give 'em away to friends or on Steamgifts, or trade 'em here or at the website in my sig.

I bought the Power of Defense.  I am a TD addict and it has a Steam key.  I already bought Uprising on gamersgate but haven't played it.  I doubt we reach all the bonuses though so :/

Now that I grabbed the whole Mumbo Jumbo bundle I'll no longer plan on grabbing Steam's Mumbo Jumbo collection.  Of course, I now wish I had grabbed Zombie Bowl-a-Rama.  Anyone have an extra one for me?

Shouldn't you be up in a semen-soaked phone booth ordering hundreds of golden Sacagaweas from QVC right about meow?

Don't know if this has been posted recently, but the Spotlight page is now open

Arcane World is their first game, looks kinda interesting. $1 minimum grabs you the game itself with a desura key and some wallpapers.

Game is also on greenlight, which I have a feeling sooner or later it should get on steam, so might as well grab it for the future, if you want.

In case anyone is wondering, Power of Defense is pretty awful.  I mean, there is the possibility it is just a challenging game I suck at, but most likely it's just a poorly designed game.

I barely "won" the tutorial and they don't really do a good job explaining the game mechanics and how the different powers work with the bots.  It's a little novel in terms of TD as your towers are walking towards the computer's portal and their towers are walking towards yours so it's sort of a defense/offense game where you have to blow up their bots before they reach your portal and try to get your robots to their portal.

I may just need to learn the game a bit more, but on the first level after the tutorial I spent a good 10 minutes just feeding robots into the mix and all I managed to do was fend off the opponent bots for 10 minutes before they just became too numerous and flooded my portal.  There's only three types of bots to build in the first level so I'm not sure where I went wrong, but I usually can get past the first level of any TD with no problem.

Felt like poor game design to me.

Glad I went for the 1-game minimum of Uprising then. Spaceforce: Constellations has terrible reviews on Gamersgate and that's the only other one I was considering.

Yeah the game is terrible. I tried playing it for about 45 minutes before giving up.

I have to admit, Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers (NES) was totally one of my favorite games back in the day. Probably because it was one of the first game I could beat on regularity, and that co-op experience... Mmm. Raise your hand if you thought it was funny to advance the screen and kill your co-op buddy behind.

Oh the memories.

Hey, has a Groupees ever ended without them artificially lowering the goalposts so that all bonuses are unlocked? The CC2 is set to end in 5 hours and still hasn't unlocked the second of ostensibly four bonuses.

I think they have...they will just save them for the Capsule Computer 3 bundle which will sell even less

I thought you were going to take one for the team and buy the remaining 72 bundles so I can get my copy of Dead Hungry Diner?

I probably have an extra copy of Dead Hungry Diner in the bottom of my bundle key drawer if you want one that badly.
It's not really so much about me getting a copy of Dead Hungry Diner as much as it's about you buying 72 70 copies of Jelly All Stars. I'm selfless that way...always thinking of the other CAG.
