So, the next/last bonus got unlocked.

It's the soundtracks and game guides for both Data Hacker: Initiation and Data Hacker: Corruption.

They unlock at 1,500, but considering how crappy this bundle has sold, not sure it's gonna hit that target.

Maybe if they included the sheet music for them it would.
Bundles Sold: 1,346.

Looking like my prediction was on target (easy prediction to make though).

Of all the bundles not to have Dollar Days on... they must really hate that Ajay kid.

All they needed to do was make the second-tier $2. How hard is that?

That's currently a bit shy of being tied with the Winter Wolves Bundle which AFAIK was their worst selling bundle to date, and that was back in 2012 and partially because they had other bundles going on which were actually decent.

Exactly tied right now, with over six hours to go. Poor WW's gonna remain in last place.

Not that they don't kinda deserve it with that pricing structure and the quality of their writing, but you know. Poor them.

No, the Winter Wolves bundle was infinitely better than this.

I almost feel sorry for that Ajay character because he is probably universally despised as a result of being associated with this terrible bundle. He's the new internet Hitler.

And now Groupees has added insult to injury with the new manure Spotlight.

Wow just what I've always wanted a bundle with a few games that look Atari 2600 because the developers are lazy fucking hipsters and a $5 tier with only music!

I didn't think they could do worse than the Ajay bundle and they proved me wrong. Good job Groupees.

Seriously, that Dino Run SE repeat doesn't even look like it'd be a good phone game, which is itself almost an inherently-oxymoronic concept.

Ajay's bundle never hit 1,500 by the way. I feel bad for all the people who bought in hoping for some decent bonuses, they couldn't even get the second one.

Your link is trying to get me to open something/save a file. I'm somewhat paranoid.
And it isn't because CAG messed with the link. Trying to go back to the page does the same thing for me. Odd.

Anyway, that page has the Pixeljam games and some music available as a bundle from that site for $5, $10, or $15 depending on how big a bundle you want.

Interestingly enough IndieGameStand had a Pixeljam/Octology bundle awhile back. One could've beaten the average by paying $2.85 and received all 8 games.

So even then it's been cheaper than this latest Groupees bundle.

I'm sure there're people out there facing the difficult decision of sinking $5 on this Groupees bundle and getting 3  Desura games, a web-based creation tool and some music, or adding another $1 and getting Saints Row 2, SR3 Complete, Dead Island GOTY, Risen 1 and 2, Metro 2033, Sacred 2 Gold and Sacred Citadel... and some music.

It's a tricky one. I'm glad the decision was made for me by me already owning the amazing classic "Potatoman seeks the Troof".

Seriously... my favorite bundle sites lately?

  1. Gala
  2. Bundlestars
  3. Blink
  4. Flying Bundle

Seriously, what the fuck is that list!?
Agreed on BS and Blink, and I hate to admit it, but Gala's really stepped it up with their Monday bundles (aside from the one with Cat Lady, that was shit). Flying Bundle's good because they don't do bundles often, but Flying 8 is kind of shitty, tbh. Specifically because they're using leftover Duke keys and are "surprised" when some of them are already used.

So should we just call a spade a spade?

If this trend of shitty bundles continues, I say we nickname or rename Groupees to [customspoiler='...']Poopees. Perhaps a little crude, but these 8-bit and garbage bundle games are outright disgusting themselves.[/customspoiler]

I know BS has been getting more love lately, but they still haven't had anything for me to get excited about in ages. I don't like spending more than $2 for bundles of games I'll never play.

I'm down with that.

You must've missed the Poopees Crapsule Bundle back in December. $1 for tubgirl, $3 to break a glass jar inside your ass and then pick out the pieces.

They might as well just put Toilet Tycoon in a bundle at this point and get it over with.

Poor Poopees.

Funny thing is, Data Hacker Corruption (The second one) is on the Daily Indie Game deal at 2 for (slightly over) a dollar. However I didn't get the first one in the Ajay bundle even at the $1. Tier. I kind of wanted Data Hacker but I don't know, that bundle and Ajay were so full of Poopees that I just couldn't bring myself to buy it.

Apparently the next Poopees Clash of the World bundle will start tomorrow.. This time it'll be for the US. I was hoping for Asia :whistle2:(

Apparently Banzai Pecan was taken off of greenlight and the dev doesn't want to put it back up. Motoki probably knows more info about it.. I'm too lazy to find it ;)

Banzai Pecan and Planet Stronghold were the two games I grabbed the Indiebundle Anime Bundle for. Yeah. Kinda regretting that one.

From what I gathered, it just got downvoted to oblivion when it was originally on Greenlight and the dev just doesn't want to bother trying again.

Wow, a bundle I'll actually buy. I remember RollingSkull championing the crap out of Banzai Pecan back in the day, so I suppose it's worth a buck.

Gee, I can't imagine why.......... An indie dev with a fragile ego, I've never heard of such a thing.
Eh, I can understand why having your game getting downvoted into oblivion could be upsetting..

Fragile egos are okay as long as it doesn't make the dev act like a dick or a passive-aggressive bitch.
