So apparently ASMR Universe has cards. Expensive cards. A farmed two pack at $1.50 would leave you in the black, more or less. And it also has some expensive emoticons.

I kinda want that one...

So I got a key for Grande Burrito Especiale or whatever the hell from Poopees today. Looks like trash. I forgot I bought it. Was probably better off that way.

They've changed the layout for the preorder page. It now shows the tiers along with their content and price, but it isn't clear whether you need to pay $3 now, or if that's what it's going to be on launch. This is either deliberately ambiguous or poorly thought out.

Oh, and it has the charity checkbox checked by default.

Maybe it's because I'm on mobile, but I can't even see what's in bundles now. The page for the software bundle says "For $3 minimum you get" but I'm not seeing any images underneath that.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

https://groupees.com/bagb42

So this shitty ass Groupees site decided to make the RECOMMENDED price the DEFAULT price on their order page for BAGB 42. Meaning that people are accidentally paying $38 for that terrible bundle of asset flips and RPG Maker games.

Choose 2 to 8 from the below. Recommended price is $38, minimum price is $3:

  • Liveza: Death of the Earth
  • Hiiro
  • Dreamcatcher
  • White Lands
  • Tales Across Time
  • Magma Chamber
  • Izeriya
  • Elems
Bonuses:

  • Dwarves Legacy (bonus game)
  • Mystery (bonus)

List of people who paid $38:

packratshow
$38.00

Cronos
$38.00

+ probably a bunch of others. Have fun disputing the transaction with Shittees, guys. I'm sure they won't fight you tooth and nail for it!

I'm not sure that is a new thing: I was caught out by that bullshit a couple of years ago. They did refund the difference without question when I emailed them.

Uh, no. I have my limits.

Does that crap even promise Steam keys on Tuesday for a Hamburger today? I didn't even look yet.
Supposedly 3 games are on greenlight. I think it's curated by that Jamesbuc guy? I remember seeing him around on steamgifts/reddit. I guess they let anyone curate these days.

Also, the mystery/adventure bundle has 2 HOG repeats, 2 really shitty looking greenlight games (curated by miller so it's not surprising), and two unbundled steam games.. glad I passed on it.

The music's not bad, but the repeats really hurt.

Nobody but you and Furhack carz bout muzack.
True enough. And for game bundles I consider the music to be gravy and only think about preordering if the games interest me. In this case, I was interested enough in The Hole Story. It's not really enough, though.

Gilby's turning on Poopies, must be turrible. GLAD I MORAN'D, MAYBE YANNI WILL TAKE ME FOR A RIDE, OH SNAP HE JUST DID WITH THIS BUNDLE!

What music?
The music is in the bundle of mystery and adventure; Phil Rey and also Ryan Stunkel. Next bonus is Sean Patrick Hannifin.

Agree with Motoki that the itch bundle does not even mention steam keys at this moment. Even If greenlight games, I do not want to assume that we get keys with the shenanigans lately of both poopies and developers. The page for the itch bundle could use some help.

Wasn't there a lady among Groupees staff in the past?

I guess initially Johnny hasn't revealed the shady person that he is today so he had a really good staff who professionally curated all the good bundles (look at the past Groupees, esp. Be MINE.. they rivaled any major bundle sites at that time).

But whoever was curator person decided to pack up and left Shadee camp; hence the shitty bundle flows in.  At this point, their reputation has gone to sh1t so they allow whomever just jump in, put up the time/energy to email unsuspecting indie developers and curate the game for them.

I don't think the Greenlight stuff is worth it anymore. Everyone is shitting their pants because people keep talking about key resellers being the antichrist at game developer conferences and on blogs and crap.

And these dumbass developers don't know the difference between some dude giving an extra indie bundle game key to a friend and CD Keys selling thousands of keys for the latest EA and Ubi games they acquired from shady Russians.

Besides except the rare one out of a thousand surprise breakout indie hits like Stardew Valley, they'll all be bundled with steam keys within a week of steam release when they have a rude awakening that nobody wants buy their crappy game and Steam wasn't the land of milk and honey they were lead to believe.

About that time the flimflammery that Poopees and itsa mea indie-a gala try to sell start to sound pretty good.

Ah, I thought he was talking about that Itchy bundle, not something else. Whoops.

well the music bundle quality is still top notch :D (None of the other bundles can match the quality, okay bundledragon and loudr and humble (one bundle many moons ago) tried)

Eh. I disparage plenty of Groupees bundles, especially when looked at just in terms of games. It's just that I sorta like non-game stuff in bundles, and, well....

Yeah. Solid music bundles and some solid music added to some game bundles. Plus, only Groupees gave us A Slice of Honeybear Pie.
