is it 10/19 or 11/16

i see on like 30 different sites its different dates...yet ive seen no 'real' notice of a delay, only IGN article saying "WD needs more time"...but that was just from a reporter

so whats the official date??

Until someone reports it as going gold or unless you have it in your hand, I wouldnt worry too much about it. They dont call them Working Delays for nothing.

yah, im letting it sink in that it is november....the only report ive seen was IGN though....and it shouldve gone gold last week or this week if it really is being shipped 10/19

who knows

People who've preordered direct from Working Designs have been told to expect it to ship during the second or third week in November.

'You're on time if you're early. You're late if you're on time. If you've been so delayed that you're forgotten about, you're Working Designs.'

Let's face it: has a game EVER been on time with these people? From Alundra (wow, was that ever a pain to wait on) until now, I doubt and WD title has made its proposed street date... don't get me wrong, they are the best in the business in terms of spoiling people with bonus stuff, but I think you become used to them after a while... when a game is announced, and you find out WD is working on it, and it's to be released in Winter of 2004, expect in summer of 2006...

As I remember it, I ordered Alundra from Chips and Bits a few days before it was to come out (sadly I didn't know of any EB or Gamestop sites back then). And then the waiting game began... weeks of waiting... you know when you've waited too long for something when you finally get it in the mail and have TOTALLY FORGOTTEN that you even ordered it... but it was so worth it... I just wished that the second Alundra didn't suck so much ass and look like it... then again, why call it ALUNDRA if ALUNDRA is nowhere to be had? You could have called it 'Product of drunken programmers' or something... I long for a return of the Releaser... Dual Hearts took the theme of entering people's dreams and did something with it, but that only made my desire for a real and true sequel that much more higher...

was dual hearts any good?? i wish there would be a 'true' alundra sequel...or at least a good 2-d action/rpg

It now appears it's either 11/29 or 11/30. Amazon says 11/30 on their website, EG and GS say 11/29 on theirs.

Bummer, but not surprising.

Well, Alundra 2 wasn't put in the US by Working Designs was it? I think they thought the game sucked, and they wouldn't be the ones to put it over here. BTW, does anyone know where I can get the uber collecor's edition on the cheap? I saw it for around $100, but I don't want to pay that much...I could buy another Gamecube for that!

I ordered one for $59 through the mtvshop deal, it can be had for around $75 but I wouldn't expect much better than that.

And frankly, they were right... that game has no right to call itself Alundra 2... maybe 'suckass game about pirates', but not Alundra...
A recent interview on IGN says it the 29th of this month. /sigh hopefully we will get it before next year
And that pretty much assures it will not make that release date... I'll pick up the regular version and only once it hits cheaper status...
